The best way to kill off a bad product is to market the hell out of it. I can already sense the HUGE backlash that will follow a month or 2 after launch. The software is bare-bones and at the price point it will appeal to hardly anyone no matter how many millions MS spends on marketing. Sony played it smart with the Move, opting for a low key launch. I see Move looking better in the long run compared to Kinect considering there will be a lot more better titles for the Move in the coming months. Anyway it definitely seems MS are putting all their eggs in one bag, if Kinect fails(which looks likely) then Sony and Nintendo will absolutely slaughter MS in 2011.

The kinect and the eye toy are both inaccurate motion controls that require no controller its not that hard to prove. Is the kinect better? Um im sure it is but going by recent previews its the worst of the current motion controls.

Wow. Microsoft has officially KILLED the 360. It is no longer the same system. Anything on Oprah dominates. I seriously cannot believe that the new core audience of the 360 will be 40+ year old soccer moms. That is effing insane. It's time to move the 360--pre Kinect--to the legacy forums.

I didn't know eye toy could see even with the lights turn off...hell I don't think even move can do that

I didn't know that eye toy can predict what you next likely movement will be so that the game doesn't go ape**** when someone gets in front of the camera for a ffew seconds

You failed to read his post correctly. He didn't state it wasn't possible for Kinect to do something Eyetoy can't. He simply said that Kinect is yet to show something that Eyetoy couldn't do.

That all looks nice on paper but again we've seen nothing gameplay wise to back it upDahaka-UK

just the same old microsoft employees making fools outta themselves and mass cheers on Opera. I'm going to disregard the voice input because at the end of the day it's just a bloody microphone, eye toy on the ps3 has one of those to. And that's the way it should be. The NES was one of the best consoles ever made, with an INCREDIBLE library. I'm glad Sony is basing the PS3 off one of the best. Kinect on the other hand...
