That video is kinda stupid. He's getting picked off by LMGs, straight headshots. Yet he's trying to call it lag or delayed. You get shot in the head, you die. Not sure what's so complicated to understand.
I like how he recorded a clip of him running through the middle of the park and you see the one muzzle flash, then he's dead. It had to be bad hit detection and not a bullet to the middle of the forehead. Then he tries to point out a clip where he shoots first. Forget the fact he was hipfiring from 20 yards away missing almost every shot. As far as getting shot behind cover, chalk that up to P2P connections. Still that's nowhere near as bad as what I've seen in other games.Hence the "almost" every year. There was no full games in 2007 or 2003, but every other year there was. Almost every year is better than every year.:D Why? What's wrong with having more games?:? I've never understood why having a new game in the series(especially an online FPS series) every year is a bad thing. It keeps the hardcore fans satisfied, and getting the newest one is always optional. I've never understood people's problem with Call Of Duty's release schedule. It's a popular series, and once a year is just enough to keep everybody satisfied. And hell, I still go back and play COD4 and World At War fairly often and if I had a decent PC for gaming I'd probably play COD+2 as well, and there's still a good amount of people playing the older COD games(even on the PS3) so it's not like every year when the new one comes out everyone just abandons the old one...[QUOTE="Messiahbolical-"][QUOTE="mitu123"] Where's 2007?:P

I had the pleasure of playing on Caspian Border in the Beta. If they had released that map for the Beta, They won't be losing PRE-ORDERS!! Who's Idea was it to put Operation Metro, a map with no vehicles or jets, hardly and destruction, in the beta!? Caspian Border screams Battlefield and superior in every single way to operation metro.

Cosign.... Caspian was amazing, Metro was meh.
Looking forward to release though and trying the other maps on conquest.

The Old Republic beta is so damn glitchy and buggy! Pre-order cancelled! Pvt_r3dHEHE I know that's a joke, but the beta actually got me to preorder the game. Really damn fun.

Be prepared to be blown away if you get a chance to play Caspian Border. If you want to see it, there are plenty of videos on Youtube on it.
The people who cancelled their pre-orders are seriously jumping the gun. Obviously they have never played a Beta before.
Nobody's forcing anyone to buy it.. It's mostly the fans that play a lot that are going to want a new version every year. I've bought every COD game since 4 and I'm considering skipping MW3 because it looks too similar to MW2... which wouldn't be a problem, but I wasn't a huge fan of MW2 so I'm going to wait and see how it turns out first. But it's the same thing with sports games every year. I never hear people criticizing EA for releasing a new Fifa every year, or Sony for releasing a new MLB The Show every year etc and those types of games make less differences per release than a game like COD(the biggest change every year in a sports game is usually updated rosters). But nobody has to buy the new version if they don't want, so it would be stupid to complain about them. The COD fans have clearly proven that they LIKE getting a new game every year, so I don't see why people see it as nothing more than milkage and Activision has 3 dev teams working on COD so they're not just rushed every year by 1 dev team.Nothing wrong with more games...just sometimes it's easier to put less effort and even more of a chance to screw up. 34K preorders lost due to a beta with 1 map? That's just sad, if it's something like FFXIV that was completely broken even before it's release I'd understand it but this is harsh beyond belief. Apparently gamers just can't be pleased :/

I'm in different. I realize that Operation Metro isn't the best choice of showing off your uncanny video game... but if you have any common sense.. BF3 is so much more to offer than that. Maybe, must maybe, it's DICE's way of surprising the F'.. out of us. Well the party system for BF3 IS completely broken and maybe those 34k people are like me and want to be able to play with my friends on the same squad of the same team and actually be able to hear each other talk and use teamwork etc. Believe it or not, that completely breaks the game for people who like to party up with their friends and play together.34K preorders lost due to a beta with 1 map? The truth is, I'm really not a multiplayer kinda guy. I love co-op with my close friends and multiplayer with close friends... but I wouldnt play online at all if they didnt play online with me. I was really bored by the beta, but I'm sure the campaign will be great. I bought MOH at $60 the week it released, so I'm still a little burned by EA on the FPS front, haha. It was a good game, but no COD competitor. I'm sure Battlefield with be great, and I will pick it up sooner or later... just saying, I thought the beta might show me something awesome, but instead... all I got... was... A BETA.[QUOTE="KillerJuan77"]Well the party system for BF3 IS completely broken and maybe those 34k people are like me and want to be able to play with my friends on the same squad of the same team and actually be able to hear each other talk and use teamwork etc. Believe it or not, that completely breaks the game for people who like to party up with their friends and play together.34K preorders lost due to a beta with 1 map? BF3 and Skyrim are gonna destroy my social life :D Not to mention Dark Souls.
Hell yeah brotha. Skyrim is going to rip my soul out and chain it with unbreakable metal. I'm going to explore and explore, AND explore Skyrims world until I reach that 300 hour mark, and explore... and explore... and explore some damn more into the 500 hour mark and see where I stand. Yeah, that's pretty much the biggest design flaw standing between BF and FPS dominance. I mean, CoD isn't any better quality wise, they are both pretty much bottom of the barrel games, but it's easy to play with friends in CoD, and playing with friends is always better than playing alone.

Keyword: Beta
I mentioned FFXIV as an example because the beta felt like an alpha and the released version is still a beta, a party system is easy to fix, a full game isn't.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone in the party goes to the same team. If you had 12...well, that just wouldn't be fair.
It was a stupid move on DICE/EA to have a build from August this close to the launch.
It's stupid, what would people expect otherwise? Ofcourse most people would think this is going to be similiar to the final game. Plus, for PC users, Caspian Border should't have passwords as that will be the most Battlefield esque map.
Pretty poor decisions by whoever organised the beta. Still keeping my preorder tho

Yes, but there is a team deathmatch and squad team deathmatch in BF3. Who knows, maybe in the normal team deathmatch you may be able to bring a party of more than 4 people, but that's kind of a stretch.

The game has matchmaking, I don't see any reason why they couldn't find 12 other players to fill out the other team.

1.) Don't release a month old beta instead of the current beta when the game comes out in one month.
2.) Yeah it's a beta so what? BC2 had a beta with tons of bugs and then when the full game released, the BUGS WERE STILL THERE! The same thing happened with MOH and it's 2 betas. So dice don't have a great track record of fixing up final realeases.
However I won't put all the fault on dice. 99% of this fault will be from EA trying to rush the release date. So I expect a buggy release and then the game to be up to its full potential in another month.
I love how battlefield fanboys refuse to acknowlege the possibility that people just dont like battlefield's gameplay style, its sluggish slow paced controls, its crappy guns that feel like you are firing nerf guns at cardboard boxes, etc......
They keep blaming the hate on the "bugs and technical issues" like its impossible for people to just not like their godly game, and if they DONT like it, then something is wrong with the gamer and NOT the game I.E. they are just a "Kiddie" "CoD noob" or a "bro gamer"

Oh! How about the other group who doesn't look past the proof that this is a just a beta that Dice is using to test their server capacity and instead decide to enrage BF fans with false info that may not end up being true. The other group s not perfect either.
