My PS3 copy is arriving tomorrow. After reading everything, I'm pretty worried. Do you guys really think it won't be fixed in a future patch? And how bad is it, really? I don't actually see that many PS3 owners complaining, rather than self-righteous PC gamers.BlackoutGunshot

It is a far weaker than 360 system, since all big games run better on 360, it is not just Skyrim, but also Crytek with Crysis 1-2 etc that look better on 360

I was excited to get this game for PC, but I am so glad I haven't yet. Maybe after a few patches and a price drop or two, then I will pick it up.

Why downgrade the game for PS3 ? When PC and 360 can run it fine, makes no sense to downgrade just to accomodate the split ram and bad PS3 hardware design, would not be fair to those that bought the superior 360 for its power and the best lookign versions of Skyrim, Crysis 1-2, RDR etc

I've just started really devoting myself to it (360 version) and I'm wondering if the magic resistance bug has been fixed. I can take down dragons, ruin the most hardy bandits but whenever I see a guy in a dress or something with glowing hands I lose my %*&$ and run the other way. Great game though and other than that I've had no problems at all.

Bu bu bu but the blu-ray has tons of memory! Oh wait, that media has no barring on actual gameplay memory. Start to believe it does when you spend a lot of time here in SW and Cows say it over and over.

lazy a** devs i swear. bethesda needs to hire some sony guys so they can take advantage of the cell and bluray already. doesnt matter since i havent experience any problem with skyrim on the ps3 which is the definitive version**

Off Topic Question: How is Fallout 3 on PS3? does it have the same problems as NV and Skyrim? i've been wanting to get it since a long time due to the apocalyptic setting and now is super cheap but if it has the same problem, then i'm going to have to pass on it.

damn it all, i might have to get this game on the 360 when i buy my new one, i can't stand all the bugs in the fallout games

These type of games don't belong on consoles anyway. And yes, I'm serious.

It seems the PS3 is not well suited for an open world game like this with the level of detail Skyrim has, or they just found it too hard to make it work as well as it should. If either case is true, there shouldn't have been a PS3 version TBH.

bummer that they applied that crappy area reset in the 360 version too.

there was no problems in my game and i liked that i had kicked all the jarls food into the floor and that there were dragon skellys laying around on main street in the cities.
