@lostrib: that so fucking stupid you can't even keep up your troll.
Wouldn't it be reasonable to think that I would be shaking in the presence of your clever memes if in fact every one was new to me therefore surprising and intimidating.
So why the **** would you "not know"?
I await your response "DUR WHAT DUR ARE TALKING ABOUT DUR LOLLOLOLOL"
lol, you get butthurt about the silliest things
settle down
@lostrib: dam...I wasn't worried enough to post that you might post that type of distracting response.
Well yup I guess since I didn't call out the old "lol, ur mad" response I am in fact mad.
Then again, that doesn't discount the fact that what you said was still in fact fucking stupid .

Now shall we get back on topic?
It's less about graphics and more about performance. The truth is while the PC has hardware a gen better than the PS4, developers aren't targeting high end PC's when making games. For the most part PC's are just brute forcing better performance and higher resolutions. There are a few exceptions like Star Citizen that actually take advantage of high end PC hardware, but for the most part the graphics in games on the PC aren't that much better than the PS4. It isn't a Wii to PS3 level of difference as some PC fanboys would try and have you believe.
This thread is a bunch of bologna.
Dont question my authority
Authority? You're not a mod. Sure it's your prerogative to make threads when you have over 500 posts but don't be surprised when you get responses like mine especially if your thread is lame.
Here's a fact most of you PC fanboys can't seem to grasp. Not everyone with a gaming rig can run games better than what the PS4 has to offer. The specs of the average PC rig is only about as powerful as an XB1 if that. Not everyone has a high end PC rig. I would say less than 5% of PC gamers can run their games max settings at 1080p and achieve a solid 60fps.
I'm tired of PC fanboys stating that simply owning a gaming PC means you will automatically have a superior gaming experience over a next-gen console. No, if you want to be able to run games at max settings and achieve a solid 60fps at 1080p well it will cost at least 3x as much as a PS4.

Because I've seen so many PC guys making generic statements like "PC's are better than next-gen consoles" when the correct way to put it would be "PC's are better than next-gen consoles, but expect to pay a premium for better performance/graphics."

Perhaps because they assume you aren't a complete idiot. I don't think anyone's making the case that it's cheaper

But many do, which makes your point useless, by your moronic logic a million dollar car is not superior than a bike because not everyone has that kind of car? OK

BS again, i built a gaming pc for a friend that costs $800 and it obliterates consoles.

So then why all the cockiness? Yes, the PC can produce superior visuals, but it also costs more. The PS4 was as powerful a console could be at $399.99 without Sony taking a huge loss per unit. You cannot build a $399.99 PC with 2x the performance of a PS4. In a couple of years you could, but not right now.
Still mad you can't afford a pc?
You're one to talk, i've seen your setup
Please do tell me where? in your imagination? that same place where you also "have a pc" and where the "games don't look better"?
Jesus, youve been proven wrong before. Why are you still harping on about me not owning a PC.
Still waiting for an answer. Where did you see my setup? Oh wait obvious bullshit as always evaded by changing the subject. And yes, we do know you don't have a pc.
I don't want to embarrass you any further by posting your horrible setup. But feel free to prove me wrong. :)
Friendly reminder, still waiting for you to show us my horrible setup.
Stay jelly peasant.

Not as many as you think.
"BS again, i built a gaming pc for a friend that costs $800 and it obliterates consoles."
That is still 2x the cost of a PS4. Can that $800 PC max out every game in 1080p at a solid 60fps? I doubt it.
@emgesp: @lostrib:
But it does become cheaper providing you play a lot of games, it easily balances out at the very least (surely anybody that posts on gaming forums buys more than 10 games a year?).

What cockiness? The thread is about best graphics, not cost
@emgesp: Why do you have to max out games at 1080p 60fps?
Console are only high or medium at 30fps. Plus 900p on the xbone. A 500 dollar pc can match a ps4 anyway.
Besides, PC isn't just better graphics, frame rates and resolution (of which you can actually control via setting options). PC also has free and better multiplayer, modding, multiple controlling inputs, backwards comptability, better prices for games, larger selection of games with more variety of genres (minus japanese games for now, but it's growing fast) and other stuff.
That's why PC is better experience. Considering most multiplats nowadays don't have many issues..................shrugs

Most new releases on steam are $60. I'm not one who buys a ton of games every year, so PC deals wouldn't really benefit me all that much. Also, I rarely buy console games on release day. I always end up paying $10-20 less by the time I buy a game. The few games I buy on release date are usually console exclusives, so owning a PC rig wouldn't benefit me.

news flash, you don't have to buy games from steam. I haven't paid $60 for a game in a while, and I've bought multiple games at release this year
@emgesp:
Fair enough then, console game prices don't seem to be dropping where I live any more but that probably has more to do with the fact my eye is more on Nintendo at the moment. I pick up a lot of games on steam but I very rarely race for new releases now; the only game I'm likely to buy new any time soon is witcher 2, everything else can wait until its cheaper.
@emgesp: dude don't bother with lostrib....he actually doesn't care about the question he's asking.

If I'm going to buy a PC rig it better be able to outperform my PS4. I mean I wouldn't buy a PC rig for its exclusives, because in all honesty PC exclusives don't appeal to me. Though, I am biased since I don't care for MMO's, or RTS games. I'm guessing the vast majority of people who buy PC rigs mostly play multiplats.
"larger selection of games with more variety of genres"
Where are all the Third Person shooters?
True. But, it also does everything else that you have to pay extra for.
True. But, it also does everything else that you have to pay extra for.
Well, to be fair PS+ has already payed for itself with the monthly free games. I have about three now that would have easily cost me $50 without PS+.

Well, like i said, PC is more than just the large selection of games. If you do not care for them, that's 100% fair, but to plain disregard them isn't smart at all.
Has for teh exclusives, if you want AAA games liek Halo and Uncharted, sicne nobody onws pc to buy and fund studios and games, there isn't. Still, nothing stops you from buying a console latter down the line whne it's cheaper, like me. The games are still there, but PC advantages start day 1. You don't have to wait 2 years for a ND game to come.
Regarding mostly playing multiplats, yeah no

Most popular steam games are pc exclusives.
"Where are all the Third Person shooters?"
? You mean Max Payne, Alan Wake, GTA, Tomb Raider? I mean, if you expect games like Uncharted and TLOU, obviously that's because they're owned by Sony, or MS for theirs.
Every multiplat TPS is on PC. Only a few like Vanquish or RDR aren't because back then PC gaming was different.

Sorry, I should have clarified. Third Person Shooters exclusive to the PC. Where is the PC's answer to Uncharted?
What the hell was downgraded? The original trailer wasn't actual gameplay. It was just a cutscene running in real-time. It has been well known that the cutscenes in Naughty Dog games use higher quality assets than the actual gameplay.
Can that 750ti + Potato rig play Uncharted 4?
No, but it's a shame because they had to downgrade it, because there wasn't enough DDR5 :_(

Lol, yeah try telling sony fanboys that when the trailer premiered

But i already told you. Nobody owns PC. Uncharted is exclusive because Sony owns the IP and console and needs to move the product.
"PC" is a combination of parts not owned by a singular company that is in need to sell it. But like i said, every multiplat TPS is coming to PC, so the platform isn't missing out on the genre.

Did people actually believe that was gameplay graphics? I'm a huge Uncharted fan and even I knew that the actual gameplay wouldn't look that nice. Though, I still think UC4 looks amazing. That foliage man.

yes, there were people hyping it was graphics king based on that trailer, and that was what the game would look like since it was rendered in engine

Where is the Sony's answer to Star Citizen? Or name one single rpg on PS4. Uncharted is a simple overhyped on rails third persona action game with zero replayability. I beat every Uncharted installment in 8 hours. 8 HOURS, having like 80% of all collectibles. If ever get stranded on an deserted island, I definitely wouldn't want to have Uncharted with me lol.
I just don't get it. I have a GTX 670 and PS4 games look just as good if not better. (Infamous, KZ)
I have now ordered a GTX 970 in hopes that I will finally notice the difference in graphics. I'm still happy with my PC tho, use it all the time for Plex, Amazon, and Netflix.
No one cares what you think. Go show pictures of your stuff to someone. We're all jealous, idiot.
