First up, im a long time lurker, just recently signed up, been reading the PC v console discussion for a while now, seems its brought weekly, so i'll offer to bring up this weeks. So anyways if you think about it, it's only PC gamers who consider PC gaming to be "good", you know how they say, "people dont know about gaming, you can get a perfectly good PC for $500" or something like that. Hipsters, love to deem whats "cool" to now, you know it's funny how the only people who think gaming on a PC is good....are PC gamers, everyone else recognizes how bad it is....kinder like being a hipster. In fact i'd go as far as saying PC gaming, lowers I.Q, and is an anti social channel of gaming. Your a foot away from your PC....that isn't relaxing, that's uncomfortable. There is absolutely no need for PC gaming, there is nothing good about it. Console - $250: More games Better online Better community Not snobs and elitists PC - $600 Cant play games on max Less games Lack of community Multiplayer games are ghost towns Elitist nerds and snobs from private schools Huge egos Now seriously...why would anyone game on a PC, other than trying to go against the "mainstream" ie being a hipster, you people are bluffing yourselves. PC gaming is pretty damn bad, there are no good variety of games, only MMO's or annoying FAILbook games, the truth is though, you'd have more games if you weren't pirates.

well I'm not so sure about the rich snobs thing. I'm quite a poor guy and steam is the only way I would be able to buy games. I just bought 12 games for $22 through steam sales. Where as you are paying $60 for your games.

I live off of about $20 a week for food and Im still able to get recentish PC games due to how cheap you can get them. PC costs more in the initial investment, but over time it ends up costing just as much as a console.

I'm a first year college undergrad, and i have no problem paying for console games, find a job over the summer, and work some odd jobs, and you can get a good console game as opposed to poor quality steam games.

Um, no. I play a lot of FSX and you actually need to know a lot of things, eg making flight plans or in my case experience in meteorology, to maximize use of the game's features.

But, then, you'll just say using a brain is boring...... So, don't bring IQ into the mix.

Company of heroes is a bad RTS game, i would prefer Gears 3....or better yet, save that $10, and put it towards a good game like BF3 and MW3. Why spend $10 on a bad game pack like Company of heores. Company of Heroes has a even higher metacritic average than Gears 3(or 2),so if that´s bad then imagine how bad Gears 3 is!

pretty much and PC gamers always play no named games till they go big time like Crysis 2, FEAR, Dungeon Siege, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Bad Company 2 and the future victim will be Diablo 3. Such a shame that because it's popular they'll stop playing it, but it's the way of hipsters.

98% = Game Chronicles and Gaming Target

96% = PC Gamer, **** Code Central, Gaming Illustrated and Gamign Excellend

95% = Worth Playing, IC Games, PALGN and Gamepro

94% = IGN, Game Trailers, Computer Games Online RO

I think you get the picture? 55 reviews on metacritic and 93% average, that is VERY GOOD, not BAD.
