I have a hard time believing people are actually this ignorant and yet so dedicated to their ignorance.

I always had the sense that you were a reasonable guy but now that you've locked my thread that was essentially the counter argument to this one, while allowing this one to flourish, in conjunction now with this rudimentary derogation and wanton, meritless stigmatizationcalls your objectivity and impartiality into question.

My point still stands uncontested by any arguement of sound reasoning and I suspect that it shall remain so even in the face of the impendig wave of sardonic and moronic comments that will be flush with rage but void of logic orcoherency.

I locked that thread because of what happened in the thread, not the OP. The thread was able to go for several pages, but it just turned into nothing but garbage and flaming between a few posters who weren't even on topic anymore. No point in keeping something like that up. This thread hasn't really turned into that, yet.

You're still taking this way too seriously and being ignorant as to why people play PC games in the first place. There is no way to argue against you because you refuse actually look at the reality of PC gaming and you've convinced yourself you are right.

I'm willing to have a logical debate, but you're the one who's actually shutting out reality. Even more so, I'm not a PC gamer who thinks PC gaming is superior in every way and consoles are just destroying the industry, so you don't have to even convince me of that. All you need to do is broaden your views of gaming in general and maybe then you'll understand why you're being ignorant on this subject.

Oh I actually did lock that thread. I lock so many I forget which ones I do and don't.

However I do give perfectly good reasons why I lock threads. That thread had turned into crap so I locked it. It was nothing to do with the OP and everything to do with what happened in the thread. No point in keeping a flamewar between two posters going.

Too bad the game doesn't actually look like that in-game. The screenshots do because they supersample the picture while applying more AA to it.

Halo 4 looks great, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't look that good. It's clearly jaggied in the game and the texture filtering is terrible, like all consoles games. Crysis 2 on the console is also very lackluster compared to that of the PC.

The lack of video ram requires devs to skip on the texture filtering and the weaker GPUs mixed with lower amounts of ram force them to give up AA an even render at lower resolutions.

halo engine isnt as advanced as cryengine 3.

you havent seen them moving around the sun and **** like in crysis the lighting isnt as advanced.

A gif can only display 256 colors. A console over 16 million. So actually the clarity of what you see on screen will be better than a gif.

I'm done here. The funny thing is that in this thread 70% of it's actually been the Hermits who've been posting bullshots, promotinal art for unreleased games or stills of mods that perform so poorly that they can't even be classified as games anymore. Having an enthusiast gaming PC is like strapping a rocket to the back of your car. No matter how fast it can theoretically go, when you get on the highway, you're still going to have to go the same speed as everyone else; and your rocket just winds up being being useless and looking stupid.

For starters, the screenshots you just posted are in the native resolution, and look much more blurred and flawed than the downsampled GIF, so fine, at least you posted something accurate this time...

But the thing I want to see is the proof for that 70% statistic, becuase the only mod with unreasonably high hardware requirments is the Skyrim one. So go ahead, show me how much more questionable material can you find...

As for the rest of your post, my original question wasn't refering to system preferences, so no need to go there. I have nothing against console gaming and people who like it, but that is a topic for another time. Now, I'm interested only in your contradiction regarding bullsohts...
