That´s the whole point,if you had a high end PC it would run fine and look better than the 360 version,obviously mid to low range PC´s would have issues,but the whole argument was about the best PC´s of that time.

I remember Gears of War coming out on PC a year later.

The devs said the game was already takign advantage of superio PC hardware. It looked and run better than the 360 version.

though Reach is partly right, Gears on 360 was graphics king for a time.

So technically, the xbox 360 is the only console that has had a true graphics king this gen.;)

I play Oblivion back then with 1680x1050, 60fps, with higher details, etc, and on xbox was with 1024x600(3 times smaller resolution), 20-30fps, lower details, etc and that was with the pc(with a 8800GTX) that i had from 2006.

you might as well tell me that lot in chinese, i dont know what 8800GTX means, i have no interest in PC specs.

I was pointing out the fact that they were saying you needed over a gig of ram to get a decent framerate, which for 2006, i would have thought would be very high end. (even in GS comparison linked by another user above, their rig couldn't pull it off).

anyone expecting the 360 version of any multiplat game, to be topping a high end gaming pc is living in the twilight zone.

in 2006 I had 4GB or ram, and 1GB of ram was consider low end in 2006.

Geforce 7800GTX had 2x the memory and bandwidth then the 360's gpu had, but the 360's gpu was able to out process the 7800GTX.

Even still the lack of memory hurt the 360 all the way back to 2006, with a 2003 based Pc engine.

Hell, consoles will never outperform the PC, ever. Even the PS4 and Xbox 720 won't outperform it either. The GTX 690 is an absolute beast! By the time PS4 and Xbox 720 comes out, the PC graphics card will be even more advanced.

Only idiots would think there's a possibility for a console to outperform the PC. It will never happen.
