Probably MW3, single player wise. Then MW2, followed by MW. I've yet to play Black Ops and wasn't blown away by WaW, though I liked Zombies. CoD 3 was pretty good and I can't remember CoD and CoD 2, though I'm positive I've played them.
I voted CoD4 because of its MP component, although the best SP CoD for me was CoD2. It "over-did" WW2 a little bit in some regards but never brazenly. And although the SP has moments when you have to advance to a certain point before enemies will stop spawning, nothing has ever quite stuck with me from a shooter campaign as CoD2.

COD4 for me... I dont remember spending so many hours online like on this title :)
Its still has the best maps imo compared to MW2 & MW3...
WAW was also good..
[QUOTE="JasonDarksavior"][QUOTE="Basinboy"]Yeh, COD 4 pretty much came up with the MP, we love so much. sure. linear, scrpited and full of QTE is great!.. if u think MW3 SP is good then try Deus Ex HR. or stalker or something like thatI voted CoD4 because of its MP component, although the best SP CoD for me was CoD2. I have STALKER, didn't play that good. There was also only 1 QTE in the entire campaign for MW 3 ... Scripted events also allow cinematic Hollywood moments which is exactly what a lot of gamers want.
CoD 4 easily no questions asked.
MW2 was terrible
BLOPS was OK
MW3 is fairly good but it needs CoD4's perks which were balanced but so far its been the best since 4.
I can't pick one. Call of Duty 2 has maybe the best shooter campaign this gen imo. Multiplayer though WaW is my favorite, though mw3 is creeping up on it. I'll have to put some more time into the game before I can decide.WithoutGraceXIICoD2 is last gen, not this gen.

Still last gen.that makes no sense as it was released on PC 2 months before.
By your logic God of war 2 is a current gen exclusive :S
AmazonTreeBoa is correct.
although COD 2 on 360 won GOTY, it is still a last gen port. Much like Twilight Princess for Gamecube later ported to the Wii.

You trying to explain my logic is fail on your part. God of War 2 is last gen as well and you comment makes no sense at all. Them porting a last gen game over to the 360 does not make it a current gen game. It's actually your flawed logic that would make God OF War 2 current gen, not mine. After all, you are the one calling a game from lastgen that was ported over as this gen, not me.[QUOTE="razgriz_101"][QUOTE="AmazonTreeBoa"] Still last gen.AmazonTreeBoa

Just saying bud.

the game is last gen. Get over it. I am not going to argue facts with you. I don't need to. They stand on their own regardless of what you think. Can't pick between COD: MW 2 and Black Ops. BO was very fun and only got boring after I hit 15th.JasonDarksavior
I hit 13th, and had a very fun time playing it. Prior to release, I actually thought it was going to be a boring game due to the slow gameplay, but it turned out excellent nonetheless. Many things done right in that game.

that's because it is a PC game that was ported over to console and last gens PC is this gens console. So it is no surprise it would look like a current gen game even though it is last gen. Really this is all just common sense to me. So tell me why I am having to explain this to you.CoD4.
Anything after CoD4 is the wrong answer.
Anything before CoD4 gets partial credit.
RandomWinner
Black Ops is better than CoD4 on almost all levels. :?
COD 4 is by far the best imo. While it wasn't really balanced I didn't think it was particularly broken either like the more recent ones. MW3 is ok in terms of balance I think but the map designs suck, they are way too open. COD4 had by FAR the best map design in the series.

So if it came before the launch of the 360 then it is last gen? It came out October 25 on pc and November 17th on the 360.. PC doesn't have specific generations, it wasn't like it was a 3 year old port or anything it was less than three weeks old.. I am sure if the xbox was out by October 25th the game would have come out then too, it isn't like they released it on pc and where like "OMG GUYS! Teh 360 iz out in less than 3 weeks GET TO WORK ON A PORT QUICK.." The game was obviously being developed with launching along the 360 in mind, it couldn't have been done on last generation consoles as it was and didn't come out on last generation consoles so there for I think it is safe to conclude that it is a current generation title...

It released last gen.game was specifically designed with the start of this gen in mind and it shows :S and were only talking like mere days and aswell as being a game that had a 78% sell rate attach at 360's launch it was possibly one of the most sucessful titles in the early days of the 360 aswell it was a major player in THIS GEN like it or not CoD2 is one of those games that is seen more as a current gen game despite the PC release being mere days before its 360 bretherin.
