I'll say AAe. Looks really good from what I am reading about it.
I'm guessing 8/10. I'm fine with that because for me it seems much more appealing than D:OS. Since there is no relevant pre-order bonus or discount I'll probably wait for the reviews though.
From what I am hearing it is about 80-100 hours to complete the majority of the game, which is on par with D:OS. Here is hoping the story turns out good because god knows the story in D:OS was crap. Those guys wouldn't know narrative structure or motivation if it whacked them in the head with a +2 mace.
It'll probably be great, but it's Obsidian, so they'll lose a few points for something.
Let's say AA.
AA
Why are the system requirements so extremely high though? i5-2400 @ 3.10 GHz, 8 GB RAM and a GTX 570 for a 2D game? According to the lead-programmer, the game is about 80% 2D pre-rendered backgrounds, so I don't see why the game has higher system requirements than Crysis 2.
I take that as a good sign that it will be a good game with plenty of content.
(Look at sid meirs new space combat game if you want to see an example of the opposite.)
Anyway though, we'll see.
@deadline-zero0: AA
Knowing Obsidian it will have plenty of issues at launch, which will affect the review scores. Still pre-ordered, though.
No point in giving hype. Its doubtful GS will even review this game.
Having said that I'll hype AA. It looks good to me.
U WOT M8. Divinity:OS got a freaking 9 and PC GOTY. Why wouldn't this be reviewed ?
@faizanhd:
Which still pisses me off to no end. Granted there wasn't a lot of great PC games last year, but D:OS getting GotY was stupid. It was arguably a good game, maybe even great but it was no masterpiece. The narrative was abysmal, it launched with only 2 companion characters (both of which were at the Morigan/Alastair level of annoying), had combat that after the first few levels turned extremely tedious and enjoyable, numerous bugs, a quest log that is so useless that it makes me wish I had the completely broken quest log from ME3. The point is D:OS is not up to the level of games like BG/IWD/Arcanum.
Everything looks awesome, except the gameplay.
Will never get the hype for point and click type games with less gameplay than even games like The Order would provide. I am sure that people who enjoy these types of games will understandably hype this highly AAA?
But I personally have no hype for this, it's just interesting to see the type of games PC fans hype vs the the console games they bash regarding gameplay or lack there of.
By the people in this thread I would say the game has AAA hype, but I can't personally put that as my hype when I have none for it, but the game looks great--when you disregard the gameplay.

You have no idea what you are on about.. Less gameplay than The Order? What kind of bs fanboy crap is this?
I have played the beta of pillars and it has some of the best combat in an rpg in awhile, very strategic mix of real time and turnbased as you can slow the speed down or right off while you make your strategic decisions for your whole party. Not sure where you saw that the gameplay sucked, it is fantastic gameplay. Gameplay is way more enjoyable than say something like Skyrim or Two Worlds.
The writting and gameplay are very good from what I have seen, looking forward to play the whole game. Obsidian and CD Projekt Red are my favorite rpg devs and always have quality writing. As for bugs? There last two games have been there most bug free, South Park and Dungeon Siege 2. Not to mention this time they didn't have a publisher telling them to put the game our early, this will be a very good game mark my words.

I think he was only trying to rile up people.
Updated with results so far. Apparently review copies will be sent out. So we might get the review sooner than expected
God I cannot wait for this game!
Yup. This and Torment latter this year (hopefully) will be epic.
BTW, what's your hype score?
A lot of youtuber seems to be enjoying the game and Obsidian polished the game very well. I think it can score a 9/10.
after listening to gianbomb podcast i think it'll get a 9/10. If it wasn't for Bloodborne i'd be all over this game when it comes out.
Damn people who got their hands on the game were saying how hardcore the game is. You need to really plan out your team and tactics.
9/10 or 10/10 for me I bet, as for Kevin/Gamespot? I think 8 or 9. But if I have to pick one for the hype in system wars I will say 8/10.
oh he's reviewing the game? Kevin loved Divinity Original Sin so he would definitely enjoy this a lot.
@silversix_:
All I been hearing is praise by everyone who has played it. Its Obsidian most polish game.
that isn't saying much lol. Im praising the sun in Blooborne, tho so this game has to wait a couple of months.
Got it from greenmangaming for 34 bucks in the VIP section
Was it the regular edition? I was thinking about the champion edition but I didn't think it was worth it.

It was the cheapest Hero Edition. But all three edition are discounted there.
What class are you guys gonna go with. If you are going with companions keep in mind there is no rogue, barbarian or monk companion.
I will go with a Chanter.
Probably summons. Unlike Final Fantasy. Summons in this game are actually... summons. As opposed to glorified spells with nearly minute long cutscenes. :P
