Pokemon B2/W2 Info (56k) **Spoiler Warnings**

Pokemon just hasn't been good since Ruby/Sapphire. Diamon/Pearl were so average and forgettable that I honestly can't remember a single town or pokemon and I put over 40 hours into it. Black/White doesn't look any better and Black/White 2 looks just as boring. They really need to hand this off to a new developer who has some imagination.

Ruby/Sapphire are average, Diamond and Pearl are bad, and Black/White are the best Pokemon games so far. I don't see why they would give it to a new developer when they topped everything that they made previously recently in quality and in sales.

These games are my most anticipated this year; so excited for them.

One worry is when it says: "has 300 Pokemon within it." What exactly does that mean? I understand some of the older Pokemon are being brought into the Unova pokedex, but will there be any new Pokemon or is it just a mix of 5th gen with older gens? Also, if they are mixing the gens into the Unova pokedex does that mean that we won't be able to catch ever single Pokemon for a National Dex? (to that last question, I bet we'll get a National Dex but its something that's in my head after reading the update)

Haha, I know right? This gen actually has some of my favorite designs.

Haxorus, Excadrill, Heatmor, Volcarona, Krookodile, and Escavalier are just a few of my favorites. I think they flopped a little bit on the starters but even they aren't bad by any means.

There's no confirmation at this point, only that the new Unova pokedex will have 300 Pokemon in it and that some of those Pokemon will be Pokemon from past gens like Metagross, Psyduck and Eevee.

I hope there's a reason for all of these changes within Unova in two years. Seems like a lot in a short amount of time. :P

There is a rumor that Game Freak is making new Starting Pokemon for Black and White 2. But that is just a rumor so far.

I wonder If i can pre-order now.....

I hate Ohawatt, and Tepig could've been really cool at its final evolution, like a really big hog or something. I also don't get why they make a pokemon very similar to pidgey every single generation.

I absolutely agree on the Tepig part. There's no reason for him to have gone Fire/Fighting when he could have been straight-up Fire type that looked like a large boar. Could have been a lot more memorable or just a much more pleasing design in my opinion.

As for the Pidgey question, its a staple. I mean there are many birds out in the wild so it makes sense that there would be many different types of birds. But I understand your criticism. My big question, regarding Pidgey and Pidove and other bird-type Pokemon, is why have they always been Normal/Flying types? Why couldn't they just be Flying type, and then certain Pokemon like Doduo or Togekiss could be set apart by being Normal/Flying. Oh well.

My anticipation for this game is out of control.

Yeah, I'm seeing it on Gen IV as well, the creator has forgotten that forcing pokemon to fight isn't showing any love

I believe that's something GameFreak should look at doing in the future, taking a Yellow sort of approach or just focusing more on your starters/most used Pokemon and developing the relationship between your team as the focus of the story. Sure there can be some sort of villains and grander story but put less emphasis on the legendaries and more emphasis on your team.
