That’s a great game. I remember having fun with it on ps2.
It is. And it's still a damn fine version. If you PC game, check out the recently released port if you can. The developers themselves are keeping in contact with the community on Steam to iron out the kinks, and better, it's based on the PAL version, fixing the infamous save glitch (which I always avoided in my US PS2 and GC versions, but still).
You don't just casually farm TEN TRILLION exp and TEN BILLION gold lmao. And you sure as fvck don't do it 4 days after the game came out, which is when you posted that pic.
A lot of us played this game early this year man, we know how it works lol.

@jun_aka_pekto: The chimera are those invisible fuckers that have the predator faces, right? I still remember my first encounter with one in Shadow of Chernobyl. Scared the absolute shit out of me, and took at least an hour to figure out how to kill (kept killing me before I saw it).
Anyways, some Doom:
I started a new file because I haven't played in quite some time and want to go back and re-learn everything at a default start before moving onto higher difficulties.
You sir see through me tottally. YOU ARE AWESOME xD
lol
Really though, how do you like the game so far?
It's definitely one of my favorites this year. Gonna replay it on PC when I have the time.
I completed the game on last difficulty Way of the Nioh including the DLC's. Got LVL 300 Ethreal + Weapons,Armours,Accessories to make me cheese bosses with my OP LVL 750, all guardian spirits, weapon skills, weapon proficiency maxed out. Using Maria Skin. Thing is i really don't like grinding, never have.Call me a cheater, but i'm using this char for offline only.
Its one of my favourite game this year easily. You can get it on PC if you don't mind some FPS drop on the rainy, snowy levels. Games not so optomised.Playable tho on Action Mode :)

You will find yourself a new best freind in @ghosts4ever :P

Oh, I'm not even saying that man. How you choose to enjoy your games is up to you, none of my business really. If you have more fun that way then by all means, knock yourself out haha.

Yeah I'm sure the PC version will be MUCH better than what I played on the original PS4. Even in action mode I had tons of frame dips, plus the game just looked like ass on PS4. Either way, the PC version should be a big improvement for me. And I'm sure my PC is beast enough to brute force its way through any performance issues. I'm not going to play it in 4k or anything like that.

It still looks like ass in PC HaHa. But yeah, better version than PS 4 for sure :)

Nah. Those are bloodsuckers like the dead one below. Chimeras don't need to be invisible. They're just bad (at least in master difficulty).
I resume my CoP campaign on my desktop PC and sure enough, there's another chimera near the ship. I'm well-armed and out of danger though unless an emission hit. ;)

Yeah haven't really noticed any drops on those weather areas either on 1440p, but it's quite the overkill when I could hold 60 on 4k with dropping shadows down a notch. The game isn't exactly a looker by any means but at least for Conan it's a big difference vs the regular ps4 version on action mode in image clarity
Sweet. The Thanksgiving holidays started early for us here. Lots of time to game. But, I think I'm on the last 1/5 of the game before it's over.
I've been getting shortchanged by all these emissions at the most inopportune times. So, I'm building up my supply of anabiotics.
Also....Tier 3 Upgrades really eat up the moolah. I could have sworn I had almost 600k RU not too long ago. ;)
Also..... I've made clear that I'm not a big fan of achievements in most games. But, I'll make an exception for Call of Pripyat. Its achievements are are the kind I like to see.
This is the weirdest ending yet I've seen in STALKER: Call of Pripyat. They fricking left me behind. ;)
Strelok and company moved so fast (while I covered their backs). There were like only 2 Monolith baddies and no snipers at the evacuation point. It's only after the choppers left (and I'm headed back to the laundromat) that the Monolith showed up in force, snipers and all.
I guess Uncle Yar is now the medic. Oh. He also does repairs now.
I played a bit of Call of Chernobyl. I applied the Absolute Nature Redux mod. But, it doesn't come close to the Absolute Nature v4.04 mod for Call of Pripyat. CoC kinda looks meh now. I'm tempted to replay CoP again just to admire the scenery.
Just got done with the Call of Pripyat campaign. So..... I start another one. By this time, I can do all the missions and quests pretty quick, get my exoskeleton asap. It's just a matter of getting lucky with finding artifacts.
Lots of good luck. I found two goldfish artifacts in quick succession. I can't get enough of the nights in CoP. I recorded the aftermath of Beard's night ambush. Beautiful night just walking back to the Skadovsk.
lmao do you expect me to believe that? Come on, dude. Don't lie. It's obvious that you used cheats. I have a save in this game with over 500 hours -- I'm more familiar with this game than you are.
I'm bored. The rest of the family went shopping while I stayed home to chill out.
I immediately started a new campaign in Call of Pripyat after finishing the old campaign. I'm applying new info I learned from the last playthrough.
I kept notes on the weapon stashes I found which helped a lot in progressing quickly.
Unlike others who burden themselves by carrying everything they owned, I keep most of my stuff in the storage box and carry a relatively small loadout, usually just enough to get me through an errand or two before heading back to base. That leaves enough weight allowance to carry booty I might gain from scavenging.
It's a good idea to make sure Cardan The Repairman is liquored up with 2 vodkas first. That way, he gives a discount for repairing damaged guns I intend to sell. I make a small profit almost every time. Considering the frequency I scavenge from dead stalkers, that small profit adds up big time. If I hear gunfire outside, I head out that way and look for bodies to scavenge. I scavenge the bodies even while the fight (between factions) are ongoing. ;)
I found out a semi-auto shotgun, an assault rifle with iron sights, and another assault rifle with scope are the main weapons I need for the majority of the game. The shotgun is ideal for dealing with mutants while the two assault rifles are best for anything that shoots back, one for standoff ranges, the other for closer encounters. Upgrading them is a big plus. So, I acquire the tool kits and give them to the repairman asap.
The main goal I make for myself early on is to reach 60k RU so I can buy an exoskeleton from Nimble. Once I get that, the chances of being one-shot by mutant or stalker become less likely.
A typical load for an errand. Here, everything is going to acquiring an exoskeleton, even sacrificing one of my assault rifles.
@jun_aka_pekto - I want your screens and narrative on FC 4. Missed playing it as i heard its same as FC 3. No need for FC, FC 2,FC 3,Blood Dragon,Primal. Played all those.

C'mon. You don't have action like this in Far Cry 3 ;) Excuse me if I'm rusty in FC4. I've been playing so much STALKER, I've forgotten how to play FC4. ;) I especially kept pressing the wrong keys.

There's one feature I miss in Far Cry 3. We were allowed 3 saves. In Far Cry 4, there's only one. Something to keep in mind. Once you finish the game, copy your save files elsewhere before starting another game, just in case. The Shangri La missions gave me some difficulty.
That way, you don't have to re-earn each piece of cloth. That last one took a lot of trial and error before I noticed a pattern. ;)
