I'm having a field day finding artifacts in CoC. I found two at the Boiler Anomaly earlier. Now, I found two more at the Burned Village Anomaly and three more at the southern part of the map. I guess when I eliminated the Monolith this morning, they won't reappear for a while.

I also spent 130k RU for repairs plus upgrades to my Vintar BC (and exoskeleton). Give the Monolith a taste of their own medicine. ;) Time to earn more moolah again.

Some of my Halo 3, ODST and Halo Reach screenshots I been replaying for old times sakes.
I scoured a number of traders in the friendly maps and found only the Duty trader selling a Basic Tool Kit at Rostok. I got lucky with this playthrough because I found all three (Basic, Advanced, and Expert tools) in stashes at Jupiter and Zaton. Cardan has complete upgrade capabilities (in addition to Forester). The northern part of The Zone is taken care of. But, I still need one technician down south who can do the same. Once I do, I can make forays into the maps controlled by the bad guys.
Spent the good part of the day roaming the friendly parts of the CoC world. I also found gauss rifle ammo at Yantar.

Took a short break from CoC and went for a train ride in GTA V.

Pretty scenery but a crappy game. I deleted it later on.
Took around 10 hours of playtime to get into, but I’m pretty much hooked now.
The Monolith continue to drop good weapons. All my weapons were dropped by Monolith or Bandit troops. I haven't had to buy any yet. One dropped an RPG-7 with 4 rounds (in addition to a Dragunov SVD sniper rifle. Probably going to use it in another stakeout of the Skadovsk.
I love it when different factions get into firefights in CoC. They're both neutral to my faction (Ecologist) as indicated by the yellow outlines. In this case, it's a couple of army stalkers against some freelancers.
I just watch from the sidelines and loot them all when the battle's over. ;)

and I've also been playing Skyrim VR on PSVR. Graphics difference is jarring but the total immersion in VR more than makes up for it...

One thing that irritates me in Call of Chernobyl is the trader Owl in Zaton never sells armor-piercing ammo. I always have to either scavenge them from dead Monolith or travel to other maps and buy them from the traders (like Hawaiian in the Jupiter map next door) there.
After a couple of quiet days in Zaton, the Monolith are back.
Bandits are also supposed to be hostile. But, this one is neutral unless it's a different faction in bandit attire. I suppose it can happen. After all, I'm in the Ecologist faction. But, I wear a Duty exoskeleton. It makes the binoculars mandatory for identifying legit targets.
Playing around with some ENB mods and came across the CFL ENB mod. Makes the game look almost photorealistic and more cinematic....
It takes 1M RU to get the rich guy achievement in CoC. I better quit upgrading weapons if I want to get it. That way, Owl will sell much better stuff.
Oh well. It only takes 100k RU in CoP. The difference is, Beard pays much higher prices for artifacts in CoC. So, 1M RU in CoC isn't hard to attain. After the last anomaly sweep, I already have over 200k RU. So, I'm on my way.
While gaming on the laptop, I finally got my hands on an FT-200M, courtesy of a high-ranking Merc who was hostile to Ecologists. The Monolith also upped the ante. Decimated a Monolith sniper party armed with an SVD and two gauss rifles.
