whos making predictions? the op hasnt stated anything thats not true, hes speculated about what the few remaining notable titles of the year might score and he did a good job of making it very even not favouring one side or the other, so where exactly is he saying something that is unreasonable, or fare fetched or untrue?

IMHO, Lost Odyssey is a AAA calibur game, NG2 is hands down the most amazing game in the genre and the score here doesn't even come close to representing that. MGS4 is HIGHLY over rated and suffers from some of the worst AI glitches I've seen thus far this gen. R2 and GeoW2 however seem to be pretty spot on. Both titles are improvements over the previous, but standards have also changed since then. The only thing I find rediculous from the GS review on GeoW2 is their stupid comment about more questions then answers in regards to the story. It has been talked about (since the release of GeoW) that it would be a trilogy and I personally wouldn't want all the answers given in number 2. What would be the reason to even make a 3rd then?

blind fanboy..... NG2 is terrible from all angles except gameplay, and Fable, Gears and the price drop is really all 360 got right now.... they knew as well you do that they losing ground fast. they declared they going for second and they trying hard to stay second.... but we all know soon enough.... dont fight it, they still dont have the japanese market in which they been there for 2 years LOL, they losing the Europe market and once all the hardcores stop buying 3 systems at a time to keep 360 in the game... they will soon lose that battle too. I accept my 360's fate have you?

Left For Dead is multiplat and it could possibly end up on the Ps3, Banjo Ok, The Last Remnant is coming to the Ps3.

Multiplats can't be used for ownage.

The fact that there are more higher scoring games (non-dl) for the PS3 can definitely be seen as a victory in a way. But even with the larger number of higher scoring games released for the PS3 this year, I'd still take a 360 over the PS3.

Agreed, though I would say that those numbers don't factor in 360/PC or DL games. There is a very good reason that those games shouldn't be lumped in with the lists of retail exclusives, but they should still be accounted for.

I don't know about L4D, but it is ridiculous that MLB: The Show doesn't "count"... course I would say that for NGS/ME/Gears 1 too, though I think that the argument for MLB and NGS is stronger than for ME and Gears 1.

I think it's safe to say that any RPG fan (like myself) fails to see how the PS3 won anything. But all genres being equal, based on pure exclusive scores, I'd say this was the year of the PS3... though not by the margin that most cows seem to think.
