Awesome games not boring. I have played all those games except Little Kings Story. In terms of quality SMG2>Zack and Wki>NSMBWii>Lost Winds (I adore Lost Winds though, its just short and has some design error in it. The sequel greatly improves on this some of it though)

The proper context for a score would be to read the review, not disregard the low number. Of course you wouldn't know anything about the concept of reading the review would you?

I care about the overall score, that's the best way to compare generally quality, obviously gears 3 garned high praise from other sources to boost its score up higher if it was so inferior to U3 to begin with (which of course it isn't). The context you are using is that U3 is way better than because it got better reviews from sites than Gears 3. It's fine to say U3 is better than Gears 3 from reviews, I have no problem with that. But you said it got "way" better reviews. Obviously not when the averages are so close. And a single 4 in a sea of 9s and 10s will not significantly drag down an average as much as you want to believe it would.

I feel Mario games have taken on a more 'cutesy' image in recent years, and I don't like it. The games don't give me the same, good vibes as the older titles, and I can't bring myself to beat them.

I stick to other Mario titles now like the Mario & Luigi series.

i agree completely except for resistance which is really bad. 360 started strong with exclusives but after kinect came out, all i did was hang my head in shame, out of the all the exclusives this year gears of war 3 was maybe the only worthwhile exclusive
