[QUOTE="ActicEdge"][QUOTE="MuayThaiFTW"] Lol you didn't disect anything. I tore your flimsy argument apart. I wouldn't be too excited that stevo the gamer agreed and came to your defense though...suprise he's a lemming at heart....of course he will....and We've already had our arguments as wellMuayThaiFTW
Yes because in my 3 years here stevo has learned that I can't fight my own battles
you didn't tear apart any argument. You simply keep spouting that we should ignore a 4 in a sea of 10s. I'm saying we should just look at everything, the multiple 10s and the 4 since the aggregate includes it. Who sounds more ignorant with that logic?
For some reason you cant seem to , or refuse to , not only look at the nunbers but also look at proper context. When we look at the 50 or so sites that reviewed both games, Uncharted scored higher on many more web sites, then vice versa. And earned a significant amount of more 10s then Gears ever did Who cares about the over all sore. We were never talking about that. Its about taking a deeper look at the numbers and viewing them in context and in what it means. I mean cmon And another thing. When reviewers unanimously praise and score Uncharted highly and then one obscure site scores it SIGNIFICANTLY below the average don't you think that that is a little suspicious? Why would we only regard that score? The proper context for a score would be to read the review, not disregard the low number. Of course you wouldn't know anything about the concept of reading the review would you?
I care about the overall score, that's the best way to compare generally quality, obviously gears 3 garned high praise from other sources to boost its score up higher if it was so inferior to U3 to begin with (which of course it isn't). The context you are using is that U3 is way better than because it got better reviews from sites than Gears 3. It's fine to say U3 is better than Gears 3 from reviews, I have no problem with that. But you said it got "way" better reviews. Obviously not when the averages are so close. And a single 4 in a sea of 9s and 10s will not significantly drag down an average as much as you want to believe it would.
