Not yet, according to gamespot of courseBecause the ps3 has better and more exclusives than the 360. Plus ps3 has better features. [QUOTE="Michael324"]Why is the X360 just barely winning?redskins2156

[QUOTE="SilverChimera"]for the win! honestly, no console this gen is going anywhere. what do sales even matter, except to some heartless corporation that could care less about any of us.just a quick question:
how many of you (the consumers) care about the sales? shouldn't you leave the worry to MS and Sony?
sales do not affect the people buying the piece of hardware.

A lot of people in SW care about sales.

i know. its just my opinion, like everyone else here.to fuzzyking, the gneration isn't over, and you sound like a fakeboy in that post. and to this quote, sony won't be going under, they're based in japan. all you have to worry about is SCEA going under. also, they're already making profits, a lot actually. the income in february 2009 from the playstation store was enough to cover all the losses on the console manufacturing so far.12345678ew
not really.... sony is still in total domination of the film industry, the games industry (the ps2 is beating the wii still guys, DEAL WITH IT, the ps3 just isn't ready to take over yet) the CG industry (sony vegas is the king when it comes to composition software), the desktop industry (in case you guys didn't know this, anybody in the movie industry will be seen with a sony laptop, since thats what they're built for). oh and finally, sony sales are falling about 10 percent a year since 06, microsoft sales have been falling 20 percent a year.12345678ew
I demand proof of all the claims you just made.
Blah MS hasthe lead over Sony because of the millions of gamers that had to replace their RROD 360's
[QUOTE="DumbDubya"]How is 8 million, barely winning?shoemen22When you think about it as its double the price and everything alot more have been spent by the public in obtaining a ps3 then a 360 thats something to think about isnt it Why is it that the Core model is only seen as the standard base model for the price of the 360 in the eyes of Sony fans when it's being used to show how 'little' the gap is between the two consoles in terms of sales?
The X360 isn't even bad in any way, it's just that the PS3 is so much better. And the only place where the PS3 doesn't seem to be doing too well is America. Kind of sad really. Is it loyalty to your country? Pride?!
Anyway, $399 for a console is nothing. The PS3 costs around $700 is half of Europe and it is still on par with Xbox 360 sales.
