PS3 suffers RPG MELTDOWN. 360 achieves RPG GREATNESS.

Well, Operation Darkness was never a good game, i expetced 2/10 scores all over, that does not make 360 any less incredible in RPG's though

Just cause disgaea 3's graphics are't up to par with this gen does not mean it will be a bad game. It's 100x better than both peration darkness and spectral force that's for sure. Do you even know what the disgaea franchise is known for? It's known for its incredibly addicting gameplay and hilarious story.

But that means the Xbox 360 has no good SJRPGs :(

And Disgaea 3 may be one of the worst looking, art style aside. It's one of the best in it's genre. Barring Valkyria Chronicles mind you.

If its console and handheld gaming i would give first place to Xbox 360 and second to DS

my only gripe so far is that many people believe that final fantasy will somehow dethrone all 360s RPGs, even though the series has been in a decline since X-2, even though 360 has both quantity and quality they think one high quality game will suddenly make the PS3 king,

They only claims this becuase they have nothing other to fall back on. So they say the so called FF holy grail for PS3 will kill everything. So they can convince themselfs why they are waiting years and watching us continue to play great and new franchises on 360.

Not saying it'll "dethrown" the 360, but it has much more than FFXIII.

dont worry i read it, personally i think the 360 is the better RPG machine due to the lack of WRPGs on the PS3, the 360 at least tries to get both

Exactly, The 360 is doing what the PS2 was doing offering verity and more of the genre. And this was basically the claim Cows made for PS2. It was not so much FF>everything. It was PS2 has the verity and the most.

Now they change there tone. It's FF>everything only because they only have that to fall back on in comparison to the vast verity that the 360 offers now and in the near future. I repeat NEAR future. Because 360 seems to get these games out in a timely manner.
