MS might have a price cut too and it has real exclusives like Halo 5, Forza 6 and one year timed Tomb Raider. It has something that might convert all those 360 gamers, backward compatibility.

- No one gives a shit about TR on Xbone, most of the fans for that franchise are on PC and PS4.
- No one gives a shit about BC either, it's nice to have but people primarily buy new consoles to play new games.
- Star Wars + COD >>> Halo 5 in popularity
- PS4 will have good deals too for Black Friday.

@charizard1605: The Wii will continue to gain a lead for the next two years (assuming the price drop doesnt have a crazy effect). Then, an assuming sustained sales, is when the PS4 can catch up and pass it. Regardless, selling better than the PS2 is already massive for a 400€ console during it's (almost) first two years on the market. Thats over a million per month, WW.
MS should just call it quit at this point, there's just no point in even trying. Ready your Xbox Two and release it ASAP, but this time try to get a 780gtx in it.

It's not laughable at all. Both games have a level playing field so it doesn't matter if it's Console or PC, they are both competitive games and require a huge amount of skill at high level play. I used to play a lot of 1.6 when CS was new and exciting but I don't feel like playing the same game in 2015 with minor changes. Another good example of a regressive game is DotA 2. They kept shit in the game that was only there because of WC3 limitations instead of updating and improving it.
Wow, very impressive sales and Sony still haven't dropped franchises like Gran Turismo, Uncharted 4 etc that could pull major numbers. Pair that with a price drop and the next year looks very positive for Sony.
Editing the title to fit the new news since 25Mil sold was already announced few months ago and isnt really "new" as some posters have stated.

I don’t think there’s a better time to buy into PlayStation – PS4 particularly. Our installed base now is well over 25 million. That gives us a massive community of gamers, supported by a lot of new community features. We’ve got great games out there, more coming through. We’re looking forward to 2016, it’s an exciting time.
Next year the PS4 will release its biggest titles and crush the xbox brand into oblivion, nobody will care about Halo, Gears or Forza seeing the amount of exclusive games from both Sony and third parties, its complete worldwide anihilation.
