Only one PSP, the other is a Vita.
Heh, I always call the Vita PSP anyways since it stands for PlayStation Portable, which fits the Vita as well.
You're right of course though.
Shit happens. Internets go out, cable goes out, power goes out.....welcome to the world....nothing works as advertised.
You sayin'.... ... just... deal with it?
Yep.....it is what it is. Nothing is going to be working all the time....hell the internet was a mess at work today.

Are you saying you never have any issues with the utility companies where you live? Cause I find that hard to believe.

Oh, I have issues with them all the time. And since I'm a paying customer, I make their lives hell and complain about it. Just like I will do here. That's the amazing thing about capitalism- when you pay for something, you have the right to complain about it.
You didn't answer my question, did you agree with MS, then?
@raugutcon: Never liked PS1, man. Plus, I mean, all of those systems except the PS4 can play all PS1 games that matter. I'm good.
@raugutcon: psst... there's a PSone hiding inside every PS3 system. ;)
I know PS2 and PS3 can play the games, It´s not a matter if they can play PS1 games, it´s about owning the console itself; of course I can´t expect everyone to have the console, but I´m a hoarder ( real term instead of the more fancy ---> "collector" ).

I didn't read it. Wasn't that the always online comment? That's not the same thing as experiencing difficulties. In regard to your complaining....shouldn't that be directed to Sony then and not a thread in SW? I mean there isn't anyone here that can fix it.

Had one back in the day... still have my memory cards tho. Gosh I wish I could go back and re-acquire all that I stupidly traded away.

Somebody just posted a thread about Scalebound getting delayed, he should do it somewhere else. No one on System Wars can do anything about it.

Nah, a public forum dedicated to discussing games, game consoles, and game console services seems to be a good place for me to talk about game console services that I am paying for failing.

Oh, I'm sorry, I was under the impression people who bought Scalebound would have, you know, BOUGHT IT, rather than getting it for free.
My bad.
#GreatmessAwaits
In all seriousness this is a horrible way to start off the new year. If this is any indication on what's to come for them this year, oh man. Plus they're really going to try to push that VR crap hard this year too, oh man. It's going to be a mess. At this point I don't even think Sony gets embarrass anymore every single time PSN goes down every other month. It's like clock work and they just don't care.

Yes but you aren't expecting that once in awhile they won't be working? I am curious about this. I mean services do go down. Now I can understand being annoyed it it's not fixed in a reasonable amount of time. But because there is a hitch.....maybe you're optimistic? I'm more pragmatic.:P
@khoofia_pika:
Not sure if serious but maybe read the entire bolded sentence rather than rant as hominems.

I'm rarely serious.....and certainly not on a forum. Don't take things so seriously dude.
Since it's the beginning of the year, I think we should tally up every time an online service goes down this year. PSN, XBL, and Steam. PSN on the board first. Lol
Cows are so insecure, holy crap in this thread.
Not all of us PS4 owners are obessed/in love with the black plastic box, we can think clearly and note the FAULTS in the console, because thats how developers improve products, through feedback.
The PS4 is not a perfect console, quit getting butthurt.

I was under the impression that it is, but now I'm thinking about trading it for an X1.

It's disgusting how many people here hold the PS4 to high praise, this gen has been pretty average as both consoles are simply "meh"
At least the Xbone has gotten better since launch.

That's even worse
Get a Macbook
@charizard1605 You're right, but after I play Persona 5! If only I wasn't stuck with this POS until summer 2017. :P

@charizard1605: me too, bought it 2013, I do everything on it. EVERYTHING! (Well, almost everything. >.>) But it has been great for school and it has given me no problems at all, unlike most Windows computers.
How often does it happen? Is this a weekly occurrence, or something that happens a couple times a year? How long are the outages?
I guess I'm trying to compare it to the great Xbox LIVE outage from years back where we all got free stuff (Undertow... better than nothing, which is marginally better than Sneak King).
@charizard1605: It always gets me that they call you a Sony hater when you call out all systems for their BS. You've always come across as unbiased, so seeing comments about you being a fanboy truly trips me out.
I see you have a PS TV, is it worth it in your opinion. I have a PSP and Vita, so I never bought one, but always come back to wanting one.

I bought mine in... 2011, I think? I'm actually not too sure on that. I adore it. It always just works, and that's all I want from my computer, I don't want to have to babysit it, I want it to look after me without it screwing up too often.
Plus, I own an iPod Touch, an iPad, and an iPhone, and the synchronization between all the devices is amazing.

Far too often. Routine maintenance is regular, and it takes the network out for a couple of hours every few weeks, but apart from that, within the last eight months, I remember at least four (not counting this one) instances of unplanned network outages- at least one of which went on longer than this one.

It really is funny, lol. I usually become a lem when I post a thread bashing Sony, a cow when I post one bashing Microsoft, 'trying too hard' when I post a thread bashing Nintendo, and heck, I've even been called a hermit at this point xD
And as for PSTV, I'm not a fan of mine at all. It doesn't fit my lifestyle- I don't need a PS4 Remote Play extender, and I like playing my Vita games on Vita (I generally prefer playing everything on Vita as long as I can help it). The PSTV's mostly been used to store my excess Vita Memory Cards lol. But I mean, if you think you want to play Vita games on a TV, it's not a bad purchase, especially considering how cheap it goes for, and how often.
This is why Xbox Live is highly more superior in every way! Quality service and less maintenance windows as well as great Games w/Gold deals! PSN w/PS+ just cannot compete.
mfw i finally caved and payed the damn $50
you know, i really hope they got hacked again so that someone finds their nudes and publish them online...
why would they have their nudes on psn lol
Is there a good technical reason why the PSN is more prone to going down compared to other services? I mean sure every service goes down here and there, but it seems like PSN goes down like twice or thrice as much compared to other services like Xbox Live and Steam. Is it because they're mostly a hardware company and aren't really serious when it comes down to software and online services. And I'm not sure if it's true but there's an article going around that Sony limits your internet speeds. That's why most of the time PSN download speeds are slower compared to the competition. You get what you pay for.
