PSN Is Down... Again (Update: Back Online)

They got DDOSed like a year ago on christmas

PSN was down for about a week the week of Christmas in 2014.

This isn't me or anyone pulling things out their asses, it was a high profile event that culminated in a few arrests. PSN and XBL were both down that week, but XBL managed to clamber back up in about three days, PSN took about a week.

Activision had to delay the launch of the Call of Duty eSports tournament. First time ever they collaborate with PlayStation on their multi and events, and this happens. Lol

I remember the last time PSN went down longer than usual, I believe they gave out like a couple of games to choose from last year. I wonder if they will offer anything for this expected outage this time. Probably not.

I aint giving the service a free pass because this is indeed shit for something i am paying $50 a year for and today because of this ill be missing out on not only the iron banner event in destiny but also the raid challenge mode so this is really shitty

I'm reading you can't even access and use certain apps like YouTube and CrunchyRoll at the moment. Wow. I mean sure you can't play certain games but you can't even do certain things and can't use certain apps on the system too?! Now that's a disaster. #GreatmessAwaits is the real deal guys. The apps that go through PSN (YouTube, Spotify) can't be accessed. That's perfectly sensible.
