I was hoping this game would be awesome, although I kind of suspected it wouldn't live up to the hype, but I must admit the 6.0 from Gamespot caught me off guard. Going to be a tough week for Lems by the looks.

78 metacritic for a game you xbots have been hyping for 3 years as the showcase game for X1. A lot of you said it would rival Uncharted 4 and that Remedy is the Xbox Naughty Dog. In reality it was just a really average game that is only being discussed right now because you lems overhyped it. Otherwise it would be forgotten as quickly as something like Alpha Protocol.

Like I said before, a metacritic score in the 70s for just about the biggest exclusive the XB1 has to offer this year is not good, dude. In fact, it's downright bad. If you enjoy the game on a personal level, that's cool. Some of my favorite games have horrible critic reviews. But from a critical standpoint there is not much to cheer about here for Xbox fans.

You claimed Remedy was the master of third person shooters. They are inferior to Naughty Dog. Enjoy your movie!

Yeah, that single "40" review from Giant Bomb pulled the aggregate down like 2-3 points on its own, so I'm not trippin, it's an 8/10 level game which is more than good enough and I'm glad to see that far more people than not enjoyed it.

P.S. Uncharted 4 is not released yet, you have no clue what's going to happen, but I can tell you this, if that doesn't do as well as expected you won't see me singing praises, that's stupid.

I love how conveniently the review thread metagame has become something that isn't used any more. I bet lems are glad they dodged a bullet here because there would have been a high probability it was hyped AAAE or AAAAE.

This would have been a spectacular flop, I mean it is anyway but, I think lems can thank gamespot forum mods for this safety net.

Honestly, I'm fucking pissed off at Microsoft and Remedy. It's their fault this game sucks. Yeah, I get it "but it's just vidya bro". Okay, shut up. We're talking about the creators of Max Payne here, but obviously they're a one-hit wonder, much like Bungie. When it comes down to it, they're sub-par developers, and the reviews of QB further prove that.

Went to the store to get actual exclusives. Take note, Microsoft. I cancelled my preorder of Quantum Break, because **** them, and got Until Dawn. If I'm gonna play a movie game, I'll play one that actually got better scores. 8>6. Facts.

Why did I get God of War 3? Because:

1. I'm about as pissed off as Kratos is and I'll imagine the Gods and Titans being Remedy and Microsoft. They WILL feel my vengeance.
2. It runs at 60FPS and is 1080P Something Quantum Break can only dream of on the pathetic SHITBOX 1.

So, yeah, in short: **** Microsoft for not trying this generation and getting their ass beat by the superior competition; Sony #SDC. And **** Remedy for making me believe they were a competent developer.

Lems are probably so used to receiving bad news that a 6/10 is normal for their top 3 most anticipated title since 2013. Crackdown will be another 5-6/10 title.

Horey shet. It's times like these when I wish SW was populated and the metagame was still in full effect.

What's worse is that's an established franchise where its previous game had an aggregate of 93/100, this is a completely new IP with some very experimental stuff going on.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that some people wouldn't be into what this game is doing.

@howmakewood: Seems like pc has a lot of areas to improve on (does it even exist? lol). They did as much as they could on xboxone. One thing for sure those are the coolest and best special effects i have seen so far this gen. Why does it seem like this gen potentially fantastic games ruin themselves by being short and lacking content. This is another game that should easly be a 9+. WTF is going on this generation. Damn it looks cool.
