None of the next gen systems on paper are appealing to me. But then again everything is based on rumors. But based on these rumors:

Wii U doesn't look to be a big enough leap. Still no bluray. Almost like a PS3.5.

The 720? It's gonna take more than COD map packs 2 weeks early to convince me that I should be paying an Xbox live bill. Microsoft with their money could be murdering it with exclusive IP's but they don't so F that.

PS4? Maybe. It depends, if Sony trys to go after used gaming they will lose my business right off the bat.

So in the end I'll have to wait and see if WiiU is underpowered, if MS starts getting new IP's, or if Sony goes after used gaming. Until then I'm set with PS3/PC.

I wrote a blog post about how they've coasted through the generation and haven't really committed themselves to the platform anywhere near as much as they could have, either through sheer laziness or being distracted with other things due to the sheer size of the company.

It's called objectivity numnuts, and it's something you sorely lack. Any system's relative strenghts all comes down to the experiences it offers to the user that *that particular user* happens to like. Trying to convince yourself that the PS3 is the best console on the market and anyone else who doesn't agree is wrong is futile and dude.... a little pathetic.

I agree because I don't like where the 360 is taking the gaming industry. As much as we need casual gamers I wish that developers didn't shamelessly try awful hard to appeal to them.

I believe that had the Mass Effect trilogy started and finished on PC for example, it would have gone in a vastly different direction.

I am finding that the xbox is no longer appealing to me; I am having to look for unauthodox titles like Dark Souls just to switch my 360 on these days.
