Wow...Did GTA V gameplay trailer have this much influence? I mean I am a big fan of the MGS series and hearing this is like wow...

The amount of quality that we saw in that GTA 5 trailer was miles above anything we've ever seen a game do previously. Rockstar just proved that you don't need massive amounts of power to make stellar games.

GTA 5 will be the best game of this generation. Simple as that. It will put almost all next gen games to shame.

If we're talking purely game vs game, GTAV and MGSV are offering completely different visions, both looks fantastic in their own right and we all know no one could beat Rockstar in their own territory, the amount of stuff you could do on that trailer was just insane.

This is Kojima's first try in open-world VS 7th-8th open-world game and MGSV is actually at least top 3 best game footage in E3, best of E3 for me.

The competition will probably who gets the most awards.
Both are Game of the Generation material.

Always nice to see one developer acknowledge another. Reminds me of Naughty Dog and Epic.

Cool that he thinks so and I can see where hes coming from, but if I could have either game right now it would be MGS5.

if you ask me mgs > gta, but well is just an opinion.

If V is anything like IV, then I'm sure they'll have no problem.

Mabye if Hideo Kojima fixed the problems with the Metal Gear Solid series, MGS5 and GTA V could both be games worthy of a 10/10 score.

The GTAV trailer was really awesome. I'm not sure I'll buy it anytime soon since, while I tend to enjoy the GTA games, I don't gush over them.

The MGSV gameplay reveal at the MS event was also really, really awesome, and I say that as someone who has only barely played MGS1 :P
