Hype met. Looks like a very solid game and (if the rumours are true) a fine finish to a great franchise :)

Finally, well, that's another solid AAE for PS3 owners, it met the hype!

No, it probably is an 8.5 to them. What's the Metacritic score, 86? Nothing 360 vs PS3 here. Hyped an AA and got and AA.

But GOW3 will be amazing. I'm also getting GOW and GOW2 remastered. 720p and trophies? 2 games for the price of one (or less)? God of War? Kratos? I'm sold.

Great score. Predictable score. Gamespot has become quite predictable in its scoring. They play it safe with most reviews now so nothing to see here.

Awesome. Slightly higher than what I predicted (8.0).

It's not out until the 6th of November here :( LAME.

8.5 is fine with me. I played for a couple hours earlier and its a lot of fun so far. After the 7.5 the gave ToD I honestly wasn't expecting any higher for this one. 8.5 is still a great score and the game is great so that's all that matters.

ah, lets see R&C:FTOD 7.5 vs Super Mario Galaxy 9.5 GOTY, R&C:ACiT 8.5, and Super Mario Galaxy 2,.....

Good game it sounds like, but i grew tired of Ratchet around the first Future, and Secret Agent Clank. It needs a rest in my mind or maybe another developer.

It needs a new gimmick, new hook. Mario gets open world water pack missions, then gets crazy physics based/gravity based puzzle/platforming

Ratchet has yet to go through a serious game altering change while maintaining what it aims to do with every game, and for ratchet thats to jump around and shoot stuff. They need a new hook, but no the game isn't broken.

To me, it has a decreasing marginal utility. I've played the same Ratchet game for 7 years now largely, so i'm losing my will to pay for it the more and more i see it
