If this is really the case - the real question should be; will all the DLC that cannot fit on DVD9 be on the PS3 version of the game as standard.

I think Capcom and its big mouth will cause its self a lot of problems with this revelation.

They have no real excuse not to include the DLC fro FREE as standard for PS3 users and it would be unfair to charge 360 owners for it. I mean if the DLC was originally part of the game, the DLC is already technically paid for it you decide to buy the game.

If they don't include it on a blu-ray and charge PS3 users for the DLC they will lose credibility and be accused of just milking gamers.

If the content is not released as standard on the PS3 it will also bring back the argument that the 360 is holding back development of the PS3 .

Changing discs was not a problem back when I had a PS1, I doubt it will be much of a problem now. This is the kind of topic that should bring system wars together, because in this case if the 360 suffers the PS3 suffers also.

How is the 360 holding back the PS3 when they could easily put the cut content on a second disc? It is painfully obvious this is out of greed, not limitation.

Apparently it costs money to put it on a second disc.

Because standard DVDs are expensive as hell?

Why pay for extra licensing and manufacturing costs?

Wanna hear something funny? I don't even use my dvd drive in my PC, because all my games are digital, that is the future, not blu-ray

Exactly, then it comes down to intenet bandwidth capacities and hard drive capacities... it never ends. I would love if MS started shoing glimpses of their next console at E3, with a 2012 release date...

Not any time soon its not. Games are getting much bigger and internet speeds are not getting much faster . I dont think I want to sit and wait for 60gigs to download nor do I want that much memory sitting on my HDD for one game.

Because you'll more than make it back with extra revenues for a quality product. Two discs don't seem to have fazed Bioware much.

About the only reason they wouldn't want two discs is if LP2 is less-than-linear. With an unpredictable plotline you'd have no definite point where you can say, "Put the INSERT DISC TWO" here." You then end up with the possibility of multiple disc swaps, which is inconvenient (the general feeling is that if you must disc swap, limit it to once per disc per runthrough of the game).

Do you really need to ask?

If the PS3 loses out on content because they cannot fit it onto the a DVD9 for 360 it is quite obvious the PS3 is getting held back by 360 limitations.

If Capcom do the right thing and add the DLC to the PS3 as standard my point is mute but if they don't they prove my point.

Gee does this even haft to have a topic when it's quite obvious! If they can't fit all the info on a dvd9 and choose to go with dlc, it's logical to not put the extra stuff on ps3. They want their game to sell equally if possible for both systems, if one has more then the other then you'll more then likely buy that one then the other one with less duh! Capcom figured they would sell the remaining amount as dlc for both systems to make a ton of extra money on something they had done programming for already. Let's see.... $60 game unfinshed + $10 dlc + $10 dlc + $10 dlc.... Come on guys a blind monkey can see this a mile away.

DVD will die in gaming when using multiple ones is a forceful requirement and it's more expensive than a single BD. Anything else is just pure fanboyism to try to offend/annoy the other faction.
