RIP Xbox One 2013-2016

Their biggest exclusive of the year flopped.

With that said, the Xbox One has no compelling exclusive game left for 2016. This gen's war is officially over. With heavy hitters like R&C, Uncharted and Horzion right around the corner, there is no hope for Xbox One to even beat the Playstation in terms of quality exclusives. We know it won't catch it in sales but Quantum Break flopping critically just soldified Xbox One's place behind the PS4.

All upcoming Forza titles will be released for PC and for many, these were the main reason to own an Xbox One. That console has no more reason to be. It is outdone by the PS4 in terms of pure exclusives, power and popularity and its "console exclusives" are for the most part on PC with enhanced quality.

The Xbox One overdosed on the drug of mediocrity. The Xbox One is the Xbox Done. Sony put a D in it. Actually, Don Mattrick killed it before it even saw a public release.

You had a great run Xbox One. Let's all take our hats off and have a moment of silence for our fallen friend. You will be remembered.

Remedy have never made a GOTY material game, such a over hyped developer. Xbox is shit, deal with it.

They left because they wanted ownership of Destiny.

I try to look at the bright side. Either way, I'd still play their games on XBox One over Windows 10 because UWP is the spawn of Satan.

It's not over yet if all the exclusive PS4 games and non-exclusive games like Persona 5 flop , and all of the upcoming Xbone/PC multiplats deliver!

Gears 4 is still their biggest exclusive of the year. This game was overhyped, but there always was decent chance it was going to get similar reception as Alan Wake.

These next few weeks should be interesting with 4 back-to-back exclusives for the PS4.

No it is not. It's ranked higher on amazon and being ranked higher on amazon does not mean it's selling better than the xbox one especially since it's not even released yet. It's probably generating more interest to amazon users on the site.

Xbone wasn't a total flop, my elite controlled finally arrived yesterday and it's pretty damn great!

A lot of those preorders are gonna get canceled when people discover their current PS4 can't really handle VR. Jeff Gertsmann at Giant Bomb has a PC that can't run Eve Valkyrie at playable frames. It's a i5 2500K and a GTX 980. I'm VERY curious to see what that looks like on current PS4 hardware and PSVR.

well 2500k stock is under the recommended specs, but ye I do agree that some might cancel their PSVR preorders after recent leaks. One of the selling points of PSVR was that there is already nearly 40million ps4's out there that are powerful enough to run that thing...

Yup, with the PS4 and Xbox One not releasing any good games, it is time to sell them off fast.

QB isn't exclusive but you could easily equate to biggest console exclusive flop which is probably what you meant as it was a highly touted game for xbox one before news of PC release.

Wait so one GS bad review means the game flopped???? The game is getting 8's everywhere. I knew this game wouldnt be UC4 level but its not a flop. The sales are more important to see if a game flops to me personally.

Also besides Gears 4 they do have Crackdown, Sea of Thieves and Recore which could potentially be a good game...

I still wanna give the game a try, was gonna wait until it hit the bargain bin anyway. I've got to big a backlog and there was no reason to pay full price for it.
