Well, that's one of the problems gone. I wonder if they'll be clickable too, would be nice.

Edit: They've also moved the button placement slightly.

You can see that the old controller had the start/select buttons on the bottom next to the home button -- now they're on the right side.

This is fantastic news if the rumor is true, I hated the idea of circle pad nubs instead of proper analog sticks.

Meh, analog sticks are outdated. They haven't really progressed since the N64 pad and first DualShock. How sad is that? You can't do precision aiming on them and most games these days are first-person shooters.

My one complaint about the controller is gone. Can't wait for the Nintendo E3conference

I don't really care, I think the sliding pad on the 3DS is pretty cool so either would've been fine with me.

circle pads worked well on 3DS and sure they will work well also. Nothing to be to concerned about really.joojtzu

No, based on patents that showed off the new analog - it's smaller.

It's not pikmin that got me hyped it's the MP player games. I play a lot of local MP with the family. The problem is a person can always cheat by looking above. I think we are going to see a lot of new style MP games come out because of the controller. Which will have more with one person setting up traps well another players works his way though the game or match. HarlockJC

I'm really interested to see that too. Find Mii looked awesome from last E3, the potential is endless.

How many "action games" will actually make good use of the touch screen tho? It would be perfect for RTS and point-and-click adventures but will the other type of games follow? I'd rather aim with the the stylus than with the analog stick (analog stick should be for movement only).
