[QUOTE="SuperFlakeman"][QUOTE="tomarlyn"]Looks legit, kinda messy though with all the buttons scattered around. Thanks Nintendo for going back to analogue.tomarlyn
But what if Zelda HD will be wm+ based, like SS?
Aonuma has already hinted multiple times that they can't see themselves abandoning motion controls ^_^
I.e., use the control scheme that works best for the specific game. The Wiimote will still very much be in play considering it will be the only way to play local MP since there is no way it can support 4 tablets, maybe not even 2.
I doubt they'll pack in a Wiimote so support will be sketchy. I wouldn't dismiss the idea of Wiimote support but I'm just happy the default controller is more sensible. You can probably forget about split screen multiplayer IMO, how many mainstream multiplat games even have it this gen? First party casual games and 3rd party shovelware maybe, I just don't see it in the long run otherwise because the Wiimote will be relegated to an accessory.a) 100m Wii's sold => 100/200/300m Wiimotes out there in the wild.
b) having the wiimotes in play is a great way to off-set the loss of not getting profits off of Wii U tablet sales, since those won't be sold separately.
c) Nintendo heavily depends on local MP; Wii Sports, Resort, MK Wii, NSMB Wii
