I've played about 3 hours of FH5. It looks good but no it does not look as good as HFW. I spend no time on HFW forums. There is no reason for me to judge a games visuals by bad forum pics when I own the game. I do know that most of the visual issues were from an LoD bug that was fixed shortly after release and those issues were worse on the PS4.
I've never been a fan of Saints Row, but this looks better than the other games to me. I might pick it up for $15-$20 one of these days... shouldn't take too long.

I've never been a fan of Saints Row, but this looks better than the other games to me. I might pick it up for $15-$20 one of these days... shouldn't take too long.
If its on consoles, grab a used copy. This dev shouldn't be making any money from releasing this kind of garbage.
I didn't make the claim that you doctored the picture. I asked what you did. Another poster made that claim.
I've played about 3 hours of FH5. It looks good but no it does not look as good as HFW. I spend no time on HFW forums. There is no reason for me to judge a games visuals by bad forum pics when I own the game. I do know that most of the visual issues were from an LoD bug that was fixed shortly after release.
What did I do? Nothing.

Yep that's what I'm saying. However I realize my subjective opinion holds no value so I use sources that judge visuals to establish that pecking order.
If a game wins every graphic award available I'll probably acknowledge that as the best looking game.

We are in somewhat of agreement here. I do the same as you. And my subjective opinion is what is most important to me. There is no "objective" opinion. No fact. Factually, FH5 didn't get the awards last year. The game that received the most awards were from subjective opinions that were in greater numbers than those that had an opinion that differed.
So I know where you are coming from. You are basing the discussion on a majority of media outlet opinions. And I can respect that. Nothing wrong with that. For me personally, I ONLY go by my experience from what I see when I play it.
Now, if I was playing FH5 and HFW on a 1984 tube tv and tried to make judgement, then I should be put in the looney bin (I should probably be in there anyway since I spend hours in these SW forums each day while at work). But as it stands now, I have a great setup with my PS5, my Sony 4K TV and my XSX all hooked up in native 4K, HDR. I do NOT have 120hz support though.
Sometimes it comes down to artstyle too. Some perceive games better or worse looking due to artstyle. Cuphead is a great looking game. But some might say it's cartoon/drawing trash.
At this point we can agree to disagree on which of the two games are better looking. But we can agree that FH5 didn't get as many subjective opinions in its favor from the media.
