PC can have the best graphics, if you have an adequately powerful rig (which most don't). I know hermits love to claim that it's a hard rule, but it ain't :)
Not all PC gamers claim they have the most powerful rigs to brag but for some like me, we just like it's open-house with no strings-attach to any corporate slime bags is what makes PC great. To some Hermits here, my rig isn't as powerful as BassMan or Lundy86_4 and yet, I don't care, just wanna play all games with better versions :)
This sums it up nicely
Your pic is wrong because there are more PC gamers than console gamers. So, it's the other way around.
MS doesn't need to confirm "the most powerful console" when Sony fuk'ed up their VRM design for PS4 Pro (thanks to AMD's brain dead VRM designs).
So now AMD is brain dead? Hahahaa i guess that mean Scarlet sucks.
Do you even read what you type here? You are so invested in defending MS that you attack AMD as if anything on the Scarlet Soc was proprietary of MS,the xbox one X the xbox 360 and scarlet use AMD GPU because MS socks at making their own graphics processors they never have and never will,at least sony can say we worked with Toshiba and fabricated our own hardware.
MS needs to confirmd that it has the most powerful console ever build if it doesn't that means they don't have it and that the PS4 is stronger prepare again for a gen of inferior ports Ronvalencia.
I am just using your own silly notion against you lemming.
In the end multiplats will be a wash between Scarlet/PS5/PC and PS5 exclusives still will blow everything else away in terms of actual graphics.
Not sure why lems fight so hard on the power narrative when MS shows they don't give a fvck about consoles and only releasing a next gen xbox to salvage those yummy annual XBL $ubs.

Yea...PC has better graphics
...in current gen multiplats based on framerate and resolution. Enjoy it while it lasts I guess.

And it still will when the next systems come out..... Consoles have limited space, cost and cooling limits that prohibit them from outclassing PC's ever since console designs have been modeled after PC standards.
@boxrekt: is this a joke??? PC will always be ahead. The next gen systems can’t compete with my current. Lol
Joke? Your high end PC gaming depends on console ports!
The only thing PC has over consoles in terms of visuals this gen is framerate and resolution. You're going to loose that argument for PC next gen. It's a fact Sony has produced superior graphically impressive games with exclusives than multiplats.
All those multiplats that you're so proud of for PC will be native 4k 60fps on all consoles next gen standard.
You're not going to get a noticeable difference trying to brute force past those settings like PC had going from consoles 1080p 30fps to PC 4k 60fps this gen.
When Sony releasing their exclusives 4k native 60fps on top of being coded to the metal, nothing on PC relying on console multiplats will come close. Cry about it.

I'll give both PS5 & Scarlet will be around the RTX 2060 level and I remember Ron hyping Xbox One X to be on par with GTX 1070 and boy, he was wrong and got humiliated.
Remember, it's not about power, it's about having freedom of choice on PC.
Trying to figure out why this is such a big deal. People should be more concerned with the games, not how slightly more powerful one console is over the other.
The Next Xbox is still NAVI based..... so far as the rumor mill has suggested that the next box will have hardware based RT abilities vs using shader-based ray tracing of current RDNA "NAVI 10". Also its suppose to have 1gb of of HBM memory serving as level 4 cache. Its suppose to have a 500gb ssd also used as a fast caching system with 1tb harddrive. Just cool your horses... This type of info suggests an expensive console.
There no HBM v2 memory on Xbox Scarlet and RX 5700 series.

Xbox One X beaten RX 580 and GTX 1060 with Gears of War 4 4K (campaign), Forza Motorsport 7 4K (wet tracks) and Far Cry 5 4K.
Xbox One X rivalled GTX 980 Ti and GTX 1070 with Killer Instinct 4K.

Sony sold their PS3 fabs to Toshiba(1) and sold their laptop/desktop PC business to Japan Industrial Partners(2).
Microsoft is now a top five PC maker in the US thanks to Surface
-------
RX 580 has 1257 Mhz base clock (5.8 TFLOPS) with 1340 Mhz boost clock (6.1 TFLOPS, ~185 watts). X1X GPU has 1172 Mhz base clock without boost mode, hence X1X GPU has 93 percent of RX-580's base clock speed. Microsoft added extra 2MB render cache, 4 additional CUs and auto-under-volting smart VRM to deliver 6 TFLOPS FP32 GPU at lower power when compared to AMD's 6 TFLOPS RX 580 with 185 watts.
MS's X1X vs RX-580 basic parameters
X1X GPU is 93 percent from RX-580's base clock speed.
X1X GPU is 85 percent from RX-580's boost clock speed.
X1X GPU has 6 TFLOPS FP32 with lower power consumption when compared to RX-580's 6 TFLOPS 185 watts.
X1X GPU has 12 GDDR5-6800 chips to be powered vs RX-580's eight GDDR5-8000 chips. X1X has the superiority at 4K over RX-580.
The entire X1X box has about 185 watts.
Sony's PS4 Pro vs RX-480 basic parameters
PS4Pro GPU is 81 percent from RX-480's base clock speed at 1120 Mhz
PS4Pro GPU is 72 percent from RX-480's boost clock speed at 1266 MHz
PS4Pro GPU has 4.2 TFLOPS FP32 with lower power consumption when compared to RX-480's 5.8 TFLOPS with ~150 watts.
MS beaten Sony on rivaling the basic TFLOPS power from PC desktop's RX-580 with X1X GPU consuming less power when compared to AMD's RX-580 6 TFLOPS 185 watts configuration.
Facts for during 16 nm era AMD GPUs: MS has shown to have superior electrical engineering skills (smart VRM design) over AMD's and Sony's electrical engineering skills.
Vega II's dumb VRM design shows AMD's lazy VRM craftsmanship as shown from this example https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/ao43xl/radeon_vii_insanely_overvolted_undervolting/If Vega II has X1X's smart VRM design, this end user beta testing problem would be less.
During Xbox 360's design, Surface Team did NOT exist, hence your Xbox 360 argument is a red herring.
@boxrekt: you are being delusional. I have a Pro and PCs. There is NO game on PS4 that looks as good as Some of the PC games. You can’t just say fact and make it fact. Lol I get it though...PC isn’t for everyone and especially start up costs of building a high end rig. Also you are failing to mention settings in game where most multiplat games are set with mainly medium and some low settings while I can crank mine up to ultra.
I'm glad to hear the Xbox Scarlett is going to be stronger than PS5!
lol, why?
There are "rumors" and "leaks" for PS5 too.
I wouldn't get my hopes up too high for xbox because I doubt it will amount to much.
Unless MS plan on releasing a $699 console you're not going to get much of real world difference if any at all in the multiplats that are so highly praised on the xbox platform.
NAVI 5700 XT AE at 10 TFLOPS (10 billion transistors, 2X over Polaris RX 580) has 235 watts LOL.
(14nm Polaris 20) RX-580 has 185 watts
(12nm Polaris 30) RX-590 has 225 watts
AMD already overclocked their NAVI 5700 XT AE into RX-590's power consumption level.
Both Sony and MS needs to be creative with finding balance between lower clock speed and increase CU count to lessen power consumption to avoid AMD's overclocked power consumption results.
Good luck with retail game console's power consumption.

"that looks as good as Some of the PC games."
I always hear PC fanboys say this shit, but I know what ya'll are really talking about are console multiplats with additional settings.
PC doesn't have any highly polished graphically impressive AAA caliber games!
You guys ALWAYS deflect to trying to claim console ports as PC exclusives which is pathetic.
The ONLY "PC game" that went above current gen console settings that could honestly be said to look superior to any console game in terms of graphics is the UNFINISHED forever beta, development hell, microtransaction money pit Star Citizen.
But, as I have said that "game" is still incomplete and ironically isn't said to release until next gen consoles release and fully capable of running the game in full 4k 60fps glory in 2020. Where's Squadron 42? Yeah
So again what is the PC game, not some work in progress beta demo, looks better than every PS4 exclusive? Iol and while you say you own a Pro, I actually own a gaming PC too, so I actually know all about it's "advantages".
The best looking PC graphics come in the form of graphic card benchmarks and demos, but actual games ya'll turn to console ports.
Yeah AMD stated which Navi the PS5 will have? No they have not neither have they claim that sony didn't work with them on the design they are using.
In the other thread to try to claim a level of colaboration between MS and AMD that wasnt the same for sony when in reality that is false in fact is we go back in time 1 year we have some very nice tibits that point to all the contrary, that Sony in did may have an even bigger colaboration with AMD not only than with MS but bigger than it was first believe.
A remarkable story has emerged claiming that AMD's upcoming Navi graphics architecture was created for Sony's PlayStation 5. Citing insider sources, Forbes contributor Jason Evangelho says that up to two thirds of the engineering staff was diverted to the project, with a negative knock-on effect on the development of AMD's Vega GPU technology. The report also suggests that this occurred against the wishes of the firm's then-Chief Architect, Raja Koduri, who has since moved on to Intel.
AMD Working With Both Sony and Microsoft on Next-Generation Consoles
In a recent interview with CNBC's Jim Cramer, AMD's CEO, Dr Lisa Su, stated that the company is "working with both Sony and Microsoft on consoles" and their "secret sauce", seemingly confirming that they are working on both Sony's PS5 console and Microsoft's Xbox Project Scarlet.
Dated: Sep 2018
Both MS and Sony has common NAVI IP baseline.
----------
RX 5700 XT AE used 10 billion transistors for 10 TFLOPS with 40 CUs while Vega 64 used ~12 billion transistors with 13 TFLOPS and 64 CUs.
Vega's wave64 is harder to optimize when compared to NAVI's wave32.
NVIDIA won the wavefront size argument! G80 CUDA's wave32 design defeated ATI/AMD's VLIW5, VLIW4 and GCN's Wave64 and IBM "the CELL".
For stream co-processor solutions, G80 CUDA's wave32 design left standing since year 2006 after defeating AMD/ATI and IBM.
5700 spent more of it's transistors to support wave32 and graphics e.g. 2X hardware instruction schedulers, 2X branch, 64 bit Bilinear filtering (graphics hardware), DCC for the entire graphics pipeline (graphics hardware).
For GCN, Filtering 64bit textures formats are half rate on Vega.
Bilinear filtering on RGBA16(F), RG32(F) take two cycles to execute (compared to a single cycle for 32-bit formats).
RGBA16(F) texture format i.e. 16FP Red + 16FP Green + 16FP Blue + 16FP Alpha = 64bits.
GCN's bilinear filtering hardware unit is 32 bits wide.
RX NAVI 5700's 40 CU is like 80 CU GCN in Bilinear filtering texture capability, branch and instruction schedulers i.e. more graphics, less raw compute.
I answered "Scorpio may have the following equivalent parts".
At that time, I speculated 8 core Zen LP with smaller RX-580 (36 CU) and 384 bit memory bus (something faster than RX-480 and R9-390X). X1X has 8 Jaguar with some Ryzen improvements and larger 44 CU GPU with 2MB render cache (L2 cache+ render cache being 4X larger than R9-390X).
I was against long pipeline CPUs.
Scorpio CPU is effectively half of Ryzen with CCX layout, lower latency and still has shortish pipeline.
Ryzen v1 is effectively double width Jaguar with lower latency and two threads. Both Jaguar and Ryzen has shortish pipeline length.
AMD's argument is Scorpio CPU has improvements from Ryzen IP.
No, I was right. The Xbox One X is jaguar just like the other consoles. You spent enormous amount of garbage posting trying to argue it was going to be Ryzen and Vega. LMAO.

Wrong. X1X CPU has lower latency when compared to other Jaguar CPUs.

Vega GPU includes other improvements beside RPM fool.
I was satisfied with X1X GPU's 2MB render cache (for ROPS) + 2 MB L2 cache (for TMU) being a match against Vega 56/64's 4MB L2 cache (for TMU and ROPS).
RPM was due to Sony's PS4 Pro improvement path.
PS4 Pro Mantis Burn Racing 4K vs MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 980 Ti OC.
@ronvalencia: More babble. None of it changes the FACT that its Jaguar. You cannot change reality nor can you change the fact. No matter how hard you try. You argued with many that it was going to be sporting Vega and Ryzen, and you were wrong in both instances. Its cute you quote me about being right about SRAM. :)

You did that.
You can't read my "may have" in my"Scorpio may have the following equivalent parts".
@ronvalencia: Damn, I responded to @emgesp and you think I am responding to you. Very strange indeed. More strange that you are posting the pic that I am not responding to you and you think I am responding to in the pic. LOL.
Basically you are throwing a tantrum like a 13 year old on denial.
That screen in no place say ryzen is confirmed for xbox one x.
The xbox one x has a shitty jaguar with a totally lol worthy modification that will not make it work like ryzen in any way.
Which is why this gen not only Sony but MS as well are changing to true ryzen,if that jaguar on xbox one x worked as well as a real ryzen CPU ms would have not change it.

@emgesp was addressed to me with a question.
I later wrote "Scorpio may have the following equivalent parts" since you strongly worded the argument for Zen.
My "may have" lowered your "Most likely yes" confidence level down to either way. I didn't outright disagree with your viewpoint, but I have reservations.
PC can have the best graphics, if you have an adequately powerful rig (which most don't). I know hermits love to claim that it's a hard rule, but it ain't :)
That's where your double standard lies then. Because if we go by that logic, the regular PS4 and Xbox One are in the fight, and we are discounting the existence of PS4 Pro and Xbox One X in our match up.
@ronvalencia: Its truly amazing how I was addressing someone and you some how believe its about you. Then you keep spamming the same image claiming "You can't read my "may have" in my"Scorpio may have the following equivalent parts". Yet its NO WHERE to be found in the image.
You are Torm are equally ridiculous. Its like you all are twins of being wrong and in denial.
