SDC: The Last Guardian Trademark 'Dead' and 'Abandoned'

When your game has been in developement so long that you have to come out and make periodic announcements saying the game does in fact still exist, you have a problem....

Wow that's pretty sad. I always think of vaporware when I hear anything about the Last Guardian. It's been in development how long now. How many millions did Sony pour into this title. This franchise isn't that popular either. It does have a niche audience though. I don't know. No one I know is excited for this game anymore. If it ever does come out. I'll be like millions of others waiting for it become used in the bargain bins.

If the game is ambitious and big, there is excuse, when did the last GTA released? thats right 4 years ago, GT5, FFXIII, MGS4 are all games that took long to be released.

This really pisses me off. What the hell is Sony Japan doing? How can Nauthy Dog put out 3 Uncharted games, Insomniac put out 3 Resistance games and Japan can barely get out GT5 and hardly anything else? I mean really what do Polyphony and Team ICO do?

Polyphony is only 120 people, like half the size of Forza's team, and they do a lot of unimportant research (they've actually designed parts of cars), which isn't all that productive to do honest but Polyphony needs more developers because their games are far too ambitious. Nonstop-Madness

Like I said before, Shadow of the Colussus was a 1 time amazing gimmick that wouldn't succeed in sequels or replicas . Especially not just 1 giant bird and a kid. IT may still come out, but damn its getting for too much hype and expectations will be burned.MBirdy88
