Price?
Blue-ray?
Backward Compatability?
Games?
So far it seems like they totally missed the mark on a lot of things. I'm sure in about a year or so they will get in line but man that's a bad way to get thigns started.

Well for one its got every1 talking about it...even so called "lemmings" and "sheep"
Who in fact spend more time discussing Ps3's 'failure' (mere months from launch) and less time discussing the attraction of their own respective systems! :?
So, yeah....Price? The price doesn't bother me
Blue-ray? I love the Blu-Ray
Backward Compatability? Works flawlessly.
Games? Loving Resistance, VF5, Marvel, and Fight Night

One thing that it has done right? Shoot future European PS3 adopters in the foot by not giving them the emotion engine. Err oh wait, well I can't think of anything that it has done right at this time. :(
I'm still going to be purchasing one in the near future, but right now I just don't see the point.
TWO WORDS: TEH GRILL. Seriously, think about it. The PS3 makes a pretty mean grill, don't ya think?Price?

my backwards compatiblity works great, but use a ps2 for that since thats what its for. and it doesnt produce the red ring of death or any laggingarm9218Yet there is less lagg through XBL than anything you get through PSN.... I have both hooked up through highspeed and there is def. more lag with the PS3
correct me if i'm wrong but didnt' Resisance get a big flopping 8.6 if thats the one thing sony got right its over. NugtokaWhat is the big deal really , 8.6 is great right ? You gave Kameo a perfect 10.0 and in many cows' eyes Resistance is a fantastic game .
One thing PS3 has done right... oh I don't know, made enough people worried about it that they feel they have to bash it every chance they get? Give it a rest, Sony's not going anywhere, all 3 systems are here to stay. jwmakoto
True but depending on how well their stay is can affect whether they will be here at all next gen...

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure 'their stay' isn't wholly dependant on them coasting on launch titles, or we'd pretty much have no consoles period. It's still selling to the dismay of those who are anti-sony.DementedDragon
its still selling less than the PS2, DS, WII, and 360 to the dismay of everyone who doesn't have a soul.
the only thing the PS3 has gotten right is catching on fire, sucking up lint, spare change, dollar bills, and your dignity from your wallet, and having one good game to play on it the first three months and 20 less available new games to buy.
PS3:(Games that have gotten good scores) Resistance (8.5-9.0), Call of Duty 3 (8), Fight Night (two of which were already out for the 360)
Wii: Zelda:TP( 9.5-10, that 8.8 was a serious joke), Red Steel (8.5 play magazine), WarioWare (9.1 GS), Sonic (7.6 GS, 8.6 GS subscribers), SSX Blur (8.2 Gametrailers), Madden 07 (8), Rayman (8.5 across the board)
plus the Wii doesn't have Gundam:Crossfire. That game is cancer to a console.
