I wasn't going to sit here watching a ton of it and it's why I asked before, Are there ports of call where you actually visit many islands with treasure hunt, have land battles, animal catching etc. that is also part of the overall Game-Play of Sot. Do you know if BW has any of that? If so please do tell.

allows for 30+ people per boat

you can repair your boat while in battle

boat physically starts to sink and is still playable

loading weapons is actually a challenge

it looks realistic

and yes..there is land based booty

@tryit: looking at a gameplay video to see if I might like a game is one thing. But if I was trying to argue that one game is better than another I’d at least like to have played them both otherwise my opinion is just conjecture and not worth very much.

if you ACTUALLY watch a few videos of both games (wake and sea) and look at them objectively (and not as a biased p***k) you can tell the two games are RADICALLY different within its type and genre of game.

You can get a good idea if how a video might look by watching it on YouTube.

Lets say I’m considering buying the complete collection of He-Man on DVD. If I watch it on YouTube then I’m getting a really good idea of how that video will be when i buy it.

But He-man is not a game. I don’t need to feel He-man before I can vouch for the quality of He-man in a debate on the He-man forums over the quality of He-man videos over She-ra videos.

How would you know if Black Wake has terrible input lag from watching the video or if the controls just felt bad overall. You just can’t feel that from watching a video.

@SecretPolice: Yeah Blackwake is really rough and in alpha. Watched some streams awhile ago and just doesnt do much and the same people are now streaming Sea of Thieves on twitch and having a lot of fun. Plus Blackwake will probably be forgotten when Ubisoft comes out with its pirate game.

But Blackwake def. Doesnt come close to Sea of Thieves having played the game. So, if you struggle to watch Blackwake, dont blame ya. Its early in development and no polish like Sea of Thieves.

This game was in development for *4 years.* It was released with a shockingly low amount of content; Rare, what were you doing? What is going on at MS studios?

I think after GS took so long to review GT sport we are all a little more lenient with late reviews for online games.

People round here have already decided it has flopped anyway so what does a review score matter?

@tryit: No you can’t. A video game is an interactive medium. By the watching a video you’re effectively removing the interactive part which makes your opinion void. You cannot speak about game feel, skills required, timing, difficulty etc. You know crucial elementa of a game review.

no other product, no other service in the history of mankind works better on learning what its about then a video game with a youtube video. Some games are literally EXACTLY what you see on the screen and not even inputs!

not cars, not microwaves, not stoves, NOTHING....ever in the history of mankind.

If you cant know about a video game by watching a youtube video then you can not know anything about ANYTHING at all unless you use it. that means EVERYTHING.

that means all conversations about phones, tvs, stereos, homes, cars all has to stop because nobody can know for sure what is best for them without trying them all.

It also means i can say 'this phone is the best ever'' and nobody can dispute me without having tried all of them.

so in short, Black Wake is better and you cant say I am wrong unless you have tried it
