Well Gamespot and its "reviewers" (i use that term loosely) are some of the worst in the industry, so take their reviews with a grain of salt.

It's good he's focusing on the whole "gameplay" thing and not just scoring it up because "kewl kewl movie game".

All these games had pretty poor gameplay. He's just telling the truth against a sea of shills.

So sad...I liked the first 2...I expected a 85 on meta, going to wait a price drop...

I expected that. It didn't look like it would be good and I never finished the second one. The first one was good though.

Reviewers have had this and Spider-Man for weeks. Spider_man went gold 2 months ago so I'm sure review code has been out there for quite a while.

Think they made a lot of improvements these last years though. (although they hand out 10's like it's nothing)

Well Spider and Tomb arent long games...So I can see him managing to play both in this time spam...But considering gamnespot reviwed crash before finishing it I dont doubt this hypotesis.

How do you know he had no time? Do you know when he actually played Spiderman? Review copies were out around August 20th, a good 3 weeks before the review was released. Spiderman is only 20 hours long, I beat it in 2 days. I doubt he rushed to play Tomb raider to review Spiderman. That review was done a long time ago.

82 on meta right now, kind of a wierd review. Looks like the reviewer went for the game looking for flaws. All the bugs, glitches and inconsistencies that were the main focus of his review were not given similar or any relevance on the other ones I saw (ACG, IGN and Easy Allies).

Still getting the game as soon as I'm done with Spider-Man.

I think we are witnessing a very interesting thing in MC. Game has 82 on PC, 83 on Xbox and 77 on PS4.

Is this a clear sign that reviewers close the the PS brand have a clear bias against this franchise, after what happened with the last game?

Every one of these are almost indistinguishable movie games that could easily be expansion packs.

Look at the difference between Halflife 1/2 or Team Fortress 1/2. That's quality.

? I was not expecting such a low score! WTH happened?! This is extremely embarrassing for a franchise like TR and a terrible way to end the trilogy. The game is pretty much guaranteed to flop in sales since they are releasing it so close to Spiderman and other big games too. WTH was Square-Enix thinking?

Ah well, TR is one of my favorite franchises in gaming and it’s disappointing to see it go out like this. Poor lems and hermits were hoping this would dethrone Uncharted and they were owned. I guess this is the end of that narrative lol. I’m just hoping this doesn’t deter SE from releasing another TR soon. They need to reboot the franchise again or something, this is just sad.

it's obvious. Spiderman scored less than this game on IGN but he doesn't have a problem with that discrepancy. Weird too since Tomb raider is a multiplat. Still living the glory days when it was a console exclusive lol.
