Shadow of War confirmed at Native 4K on Xbox One X

Nevertheless PS4 Pro wasn't hyped as a 4K Native console like the Xbone is being hyped. The fact that it has more confirmed 4K Native games on it right now is quite hilarious.

Shadow of Mordor is not native 4K on the Pro, it's functioning off of a dynamic renderer.

Furthermore, newer game, no doubt updated engine etc.

And Wipeout is native 4k and was rated a 9 making it a AAAE..... so it still stands.

Pretty sure you'll find TLOU patch was also native 4k and also scored a 9.

They're maybe more but I cba to check........ But I fail to see how you can claim XBX has 2 when it's not out and the games havn't been reviewed yet...

Why are you bringing in scores? AAA development and some fanboy rating system on this website are completely unrelated, also The Last of Us is a PlayStation 3 game.

As I have linked in a previous thread. The system was designed to take Xbox One games to 4k and MS promised that their games will be 4K. A promise that will falter in the coming years as expectations in graphics increase and the hardware remains the same.

There is no big third party going to be 4K native for the pro. There would be a huge visual downgrade if that is so! The PRO GPU is not strong enough for a 4K native buffer and solid frame rate

Having Xbone as the base for a games graphics is what's going to hold XBX back........ base PS4 just offers a much higher base line for Pro to work on.

Microsoft messaging about the console, it all over the place, since it got announced last year. DF analysis about the GPU and CPU made it appear the xbox could do 4K 60fps? I will say this though Phil Spencer never mentioned frame rate. The Microsoft xbox team did and often. Phil said the xbox one x was a true 4K console. We can debate him saying that was right, when games are not running at 4K native right now?

SW is at an all time low.

Middle Earth engine seems to run well on consoles; the last game was one of very few AAA games that regularly hits native 4K on Pro (only rarely dynamically rendering at lower resolutions).

Which is to say, this is good, and also expected for the Xbox One X. It would be shocking if this weren't native 4K 100% of the time. More challenging games will be thrown its way.

So basically we now know Xbox One X is a 4K capable 30fps system that won't always hit 4K. It will get closer to 4K than the Pro, it has no exclusives and first party AAA well **** that shit Spencer is avoiding all talk of that like the plague they are so far off delivering on anything like that.
