Show me one pic of CONSOLE Crysis 2 that

looks better than this. Please be honest when posting it. Keep in mind, this isn't even PS3s best looking game. Just thought I'd post this to everyone who swears up and down that the best looking console game won't be a PS3 exclusive. Remember folks, please be HONEST.

There are no pics of Console Crysis 2 out at this point.

Is that surpose to be a rock or plastic bag in the bottom right corner, the texture is awful.

As far as i know there arent any Crysis 2 console screenshots is there? All the ones released are PC version? I may be wrong.

Killzone 2 is an impressive looking game, one of the best on consoles, for sure. I cannot wait to see what Killzone 3 looks like.

There are videos online of Crysis 2 running on consoles, and so far from what I've seen, I'd say it'll look better. Crytek have always pushed the bar graphically, is it really so hard to imagine another game from them managing to do it?

While i admit Killzone 2 has some good tech behind it i personally find it visually repulsive. When it comes to ugly destroyed worlds i think other games do a better job of making it interesting.It also does have some very rough texture work in places but many would not notice this, it sacrifices high quality textures for heavy motion blur and partical effects. It is rather polished apart from that.

Snagal123, that isnt true...U2 utilizes a very advanced form of motion blur, fantastic particle effects,and probably the most advanced depth of field techniques in the gaming industry, and it still manages, quite frankly, to produceincredible textures for the most part, but anyways, KZ2 still has great texturing for the most part

unreleased game is unreleased. people say it will look better because it comes from crytek, who made far cry and crysis. They have a history of putting out some of the best looking games made. Your argument about it being a multiplate is irrelevant, crytek themselves have said that each version is being developed independently.

Also, no console screenshots have been released, so you dont know if kz2 looks better either. And crysis 2 still has a while to go on its dev cycle.

Crysis2 will destroy Killzone2 sorry.

Once they game is actually OUT, we will post pictures to own you.

Hell, even Crysis1 on pc looks better on LOW settings then killzone2.

What isin't true? All i said was it does have some rough textures here and there, and the very screenshot the TC posted is proof of what i said.

This is what I expect even after Crysis 2 comes out and every major website's Preview/Review/Hands-on says it's the best looking console game(best looking game) when cows try and say "PS3 only does Best Graphics". It's sad really.Shattered007

kozzy1234, no just no...Crysis on low setting looks flat out horrendous compared to KZ2,,,The only wat that crysis looks quite a bit better than KZ2 is when it is running on very high settings, and i believe myself that only the PC version of Crysis 2 will only look substantially better than Kz2, while its console counterparts wont look nearly as good as KZ2

It might end up looking better - on the ps3 - than Killzone 2. After all it is clear that they are fully commited to create the most graphically proficient game out there; and they have shown that they Are up to task. Considering they have a somewhat 600 people working on the game and the engine, one can expect it to become quite a polished product. So far what they have shown is great. Though i don't expect they'll throw around a lot of media for the general public and we will know for sure when it's out (hopefully by september).

ths thread will probably get revived whehn the crysis 2 pics actually EXIST.
