It's not what you say, it's how you say it. Don't act like you weren't hating on it, Mr. "pandering to simpleton syndrome". What a bunch of pseudo-intellectual nonsense.jjccjj92
Oh really now?Oblivion was designed with an audience completely unaccustomed to RPGs in mind with a mindset that it needs to be at the expensive of its own depth, and it and Fallout 3 both feature highly structured restrictive central plots funnelling players through events.
This all spreads onto further aspects of the game - the writers don't challenge the players pre conceptions, the quests have clearly defined outcomes for most of the part, and decisions - when presented are completely binary in nature.
It's a fault of their recent games.
Did I ever say they were bad games or imply that their audience is 'simpletons'?
No.
Quite frankly I think they're selling gamers short and are capable of far better considering the bar was raised by themselves and other developers in the past - and if other recent games are to go by. If anything Skyrim will be an improvement on the formula considering it's being angled far more as an action game -somethin that their previous two were trying to shelter themselves from.
Better watch the knee-jerk, wouldn't want to be point the finger at anyone who is the least bit critical in a way you don't enjoy reading. Last thing we need is haters right.
Someone with a legitamately reasoned critical opinion towards their games, and as result has that preconception when looking at Skyrim?
Whatever shall you do?
