In this part he talks more about third party exclusives in particular a Rockstar exclusive, and he also mentions how the PS3 is only 4 million units behind the Xbox 360 in worldwide sales!

Jack Tretton on Microsoft's announcment that they will beat PS3 in worldwide sales: "Typically if you take shots that mens you got something to be worried about."

Totally. Getting all the multi-plats that were ps2 timed exclusives and pure exclusives did not help. Stealing the majority of the JRPG market did not help. Hell, even being four million ahead now does not help.

Sony planned all along to lose the majority market share in gaming this gen. It is part of their master plan.

We always knew that once Sony started getting out the big guns things would heat up. MSG 4 really helped sales along.

That said, 4 Million is a long way behind. Remember the PS3 has been out for a while now, sales will increase but slowly. There certainly won't be a massive jump as there would be with the launch. And, to me, Sony seems to be running out of *real* AAA titles.

MS is not thinking about this generation like that. ps2 dominated last generations and MS managed to inject itself into the debate. This generation they have made a huge impact on Sony. They are now a real contended and have positioned themselves to make a run at the future. I mean, outside of SW, MS strategy is damn impressive.

Not to mention that most PC gamers are in fact running a MS OS. MS is now a true gaming power house on in the console world and PC world.

Nobody saw Nintys move doing what it did. It was one of those things that if it failed everyone would say I told you so but it is a massive hit so they are brilliant. Ninty and MS totally toppled the Sony console empire.

The reason being because Sony had two previous generation building up their fanbase. Microsoft is headed in that same direction but they're not quite there yet. Saying they would beat the PS3 when it still hasn't shaking off it's stigma of being the hardcore gamers rig was a bad move.

Have you ever read a post from any lemmings. I've seen posts saying that they think at this rate, it will take 16 years for the PS3 to outsell the 360.

Pointing out that it only took a year to close the gap by 6 million apparantly has zero impact.

Although it IS ironic that Jack T says that taking a shot at others means your worried...when that is, in itself, a shot at MS.

For me Haze had some good ideas however half way through the game those ideas went byebye and you were left with a shell of an FPS. Sale for sale Haze cannot stand against Halo. And as for Lair - you might as well buy a painting to look at because that was all she wrote in regard to Lair. Good grahics, nothing else.

Even when PS3 outsells the 360, 360 will still have the better selling multiplats, and more million sellers for quite some time. Hardware sales mean nothing if the software isn't selling well. That's where they failed with the PSP and its been the same case with the PS3 thus far.

The PS3 has an attach rate of 5-1...the same the 360 had its first year.

So clearly you have proven that most of the "mistakes" Sony has made are nothing more than fanboy rumours and smears.
