So Counter Strike is out tomorrow..anyone?

So Counter-Strike: Global Offensive releasing tomorrow for PS3/PC/xbox. Anyone else going to pick it up?

i already pre-ordered the game from PSN for $12 and as many know the PS3 version will support mouse/keyboard, Move and normal controller.. looking forward to testing it out :D

anyone else? :o.. or no more fans?

I already have Counter Strike for PC, with never ending mods and everything. Any modern day PC can run it. So I see no reason to buy this for PS3.

Not that it matters though, CS is full of cheaters and hackers, not a good game at all. COD is WAY better.

It's kinda hard to be excited. Is it much different from previous versions?

I preordered it on PSN for 12 dollars too. Was gonna buy it with Sounds and Shapes (I think that's what it's called?) but the PS+ deal was gone.

I'll stick to CS S thank you very much. I'll see once a lot of mods are out if I will switch.

I have it pre-ordered already from Steam. I have played about 20-30 hours of the Beta and since the last 2GB patch, I can say it's fantastic. They have fixed a lot of things and what most people are saying is that it is a good upgrade from CS:S. The hit boxes are good, the graphics are much updated (there should be a setting to adjust even higher in the final release) and the new guns are not only great but actually add a lot to the game.

Some of the old maps are much more balanced. CT favored maps like Dust and Aztec are now practically even. This is an outstanding game for 13.50 (pre-ordered) or 15 bucks. However, I can't recommend it for the consoles. CS never really took off when they tried it on the original Xbox. The maps and game itself really don't lend well to a controller as a lot of the angles and openings require twitch reflexes. Sure you can use a keyboard on the ps3 but how many people really have that? I would think that the game will not really pick up very well and with it being a primarily online based game...the PC will surely have the community and patching to guarantee it's success. L4D franchise is a great example of this.

Personally I think it's a much better franchise than COD. However this specific game may reel in some COD players that never even tried CS.
