So if MGS:GZ looks best on PC and better on 360 how will cows react?

I probably shouldn't indulge in these types of threads but I think this is an interesting turning point. MGS4 to cows has been one of the pinnacles of their system and they always boast how incredible the visuals are and the tech behind it. But since this new one is multiplat and they tend to look better on 360 over the PS3 and the fact that IF (stressing this) it comes to PC it will no doubt look much better as the demo shown was on PC but scaled back.

How are cows gonna react around here if their beloved MGS can actually be handles by the 360? and they can't claim it looks better on PS3 than say the PC.

Hahaha, was just thinking about it, that'd be one hell of a meltdown, I don't think this broken site would survive the damage control and the butthurt! :twisted:

Also, I'm fairly suprised how silent cows are, 360 version is announced, yet no butthurt threads or petitions have been created, very few cows are damage controlling, I only caught Shadowmoses...

KNowing what you're doing and not being able to squeeze anymore from a system are two different things. Sure it will still look good and much better than MGS4 but still, it won't look like that demo we saw

If the scenario plays out... then:Some of the cows will say the developer was lazy and doesn't know how to do multiplat development.Shadowmoses will say they all look the same regardless and then go blindly tout the PS3's superiority in graphics. Rest will pretend it didn't happen.

Some sites stated that it was coming for PC along with the other two. and pointed out that the enw castlevania never had PC logos in it's trailer but it was later confirmed to be coming. Then they showed the MGS demo on a PC and have always stated that FOX engine is multiplatform.

But then again I am sort of getting my hopes up too :P

a meltdown will occur with a couple account suicides and a load of cows calling Hideo Kojima various names and more likely than not resort to using MGS4 as some form of ownage and say the 360 have no games.

While the rest of the general population just sits and laughs at them as usual.

I find it strange that this wasn't confirmed for PC yet shown ON a PC emulating current gen visuals. Either it's coming to PC or it's one of the biggest bullshotted trailers we've seen and only shown that way to grab attention

Yeah, I'm aware of that, but it's all just vague speculation, and do keep in mind, many advanced console games nowdays are showcased on the development PCs to achieve the maximum hype, and to be displayed in the best possible light...

I'd really love to see GZ on PC since I love the MGS franchise, but I simply can't see it happening...

But of course, would love to be proven wrong about that :)

It is coming to PS3, you just need to accept the fact that PS3 can do great graphics too and your precious PC isn't as great as you think it is. I'm sorry you wasted so much money and time on it for nothing, but this game is proof that PS3 can do great graphics too.

You will be the one throwing a fit when it get's released on PS3 and looks and plays just like the trailer. But to be completely honest, I thought this was a next gen game when I saw it. Best looking game I have ever seen in my life.

But remember, the PS3 is a super computer, it is like 30 PC's in one. So it can easily handle this game, KZ3 rivals vanilla PC Crysis 2, TLOU rivals PC games already, so PS3 version of MGS GZ will be the same as the trailer. Even better since MGS is best on PS3 because PlayStation is the home of MGS.

The real question is how will the 360 version hold up? It couldn't handle MGS4 because it was too advanced for the system, so how will it handle this game? Either way I am excited, best game of the gen probably.
