I got a good kick out of it as well. :P
ive got plenty of time :)With the PSP version coming out, with the same title and gameplay concept, will LBP remain exclusive? I mean we already don't count MLB exlusive so it only makes sense not the count LBP...
Mario2007
Since when do consoles and handhelds count for determining whether a game is exclusive or not? The two games have never in the history of gaming been close to each other.
And secondly, why would a game going from the Sony PS3 to Sony PSP somehow no longer be considered a SOny or PS exclusive? If you want to play the game, you have to buy a Sony system/handheld. Sony and the PS brand profit. That is one company and therefore one exclusive. It is nowhere close to the whole 360/PC exclusive debate because people can chose between a 360 and PC therefore they are competing platforms. ALso, while MS makes windows, not everybody has to buy windows...most PCs just come with it for free initially. AND, there are many PC makers out there who will profit if a certain 360 game like Halo shows up for PCs. So MS/360 isn't guaranteed to benefit if a 360 game is released on a PC.
Seriously, this thread is ridiculous. Whoever thought of this deservesa fail.

I wouldn't say that if I were you, MS exclusives destroy Sony exclusives in terms of quality/quantity (But we still don't count them, which we should keep it this way)
Ummmmm no... that's false statement.Gears of War/Command and Conquer 3/Left4Dead/Mass Effect/Viva Pinata/LOTR: Middle-earth II/Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved/Velvet Assassin/Condemned: Criminal Origins/Assault Heroes/Frontlines: Fuel of War/Prey/Overlord/Call of Juarez/Two Worlds......
You're telling me that's a false statement?
Umm ya? seriously like more than half of that list isnt even exclusives.Just when system wars couldn't get any worse. You guys want to play this stupid petty game. Fine. I won't. Sad. It's so damn sad. Bread_or_Decidebecause saying sony only games are exclusive and microsoft only games aren't, isn't silly, petty or sad. :P

Windows doesn't come free, its in the price. How are MS windows games in competition with 360 games? Both are endorsed on MS platforms. It isn't all PC games that are being talked about (at least by me) its just specifically "Games for Windows". I agree that a game that differs significantly from one platform to another ie PS3 to PSP is an exclusive, but for cows to say games with minimal differences are Sony exclusives, but games on MS only platforms aren't MS exclusives, well thats just SW hypocrisy at its finest. Its one or the other. Both are exclusives or neither, you can't have it both ways. Its simple, but nothing ever is in SW is it?The person before me was talking about Sony exclusives (Games which could only be found shared in a PS2/PS3/PSP) So I countered showing games that MS exclusives (Games which could only be found shared in a 360/PC)A game on PC and 360 only is not exclusives... unless Microsoft owns them.

The main differences between Halo3 and halo 1is that halo 3 has Better graphics, more content, new campaign with different levels and story and some slight tweaks to the gameplay.
LBP PSP has a new campaign with different levels and story, less content, plays slightly differently and has worse graphics then LBP. so it must bea spin off, not a port or remake but a different game.
There for LBP is still ps3 exclusive andLBP PSP is a PSP exclusive
So mass effect is a microsoft exclusive? It is exclusive to Sony brand and so is MLB saying its not is silly.

The difference between owning a console is that you have monopoly on the games that sell on it. You know why xbox 360/ps3 games cost 60 $ and pc games 50 $. Because there is no premium for making a pc game. On xbox 360, and ps3. Sony/Microsoft get 5 $ on each game sold (I think). Making the price of games to go up. That is the MAIN reason why ps3/xbox 360 games cost more because they are forced to be licensed with the company that makes the console. Microsoft gets zero dollars on every pc game sold. IT IS THE MAIN REASON WHY xbox has been created in the first place and they shifted most of their 3rd and 1st party to xbox 360. And another thing. There are many games that are called the same on portable. Mario Kart, new super mario bros. Are those games the same on ds and wii? From what I've read, LBP on PSP is the same in title only. It's a whole different game, which makes sense, as the PSP and PS3 hardware are completely different.
Different Game, Different Levels, Different Features, Differnet Online Implementation, etc.
This wouldn't be an issue if Sony named the game LittleBigWorld for PSP!, but since it's the same name, people here are getting confused. I can see SONY is trying to create a Brand, so good for them.

Think about that for a second. "Sony Exclusive"...
The amount of hypocrisy on this forum is truly astounding sometimes. Just a few months ago mentioning "Microsoft Exclusive" would get you burned at the stake, and now, we're terming "Sony Exclusives". In the case of LBP, we don't really know how similar the versions are, so lets hold off on this argument for a bit, alright?
See this has gone OT. LBP is and will be an exclusive on the PS3 IMO. The PSP version will not at all be like that and thats why its exclusive. Not because of any of this company exclusive nonsense. From what I've read, LBP on PSP is the same in title only. It's a whole different game, which makes sense, as the PSP and PS3 hardware are completely different.

Well work is over in 5 mins so after that I don't really care lolthis thread/posts gave me the same feeling as when Ps3 fanboys argue against 360 fanboys when they list the 360/PC titles when comparing games libraries..
Lets say LBP now is not a 'PS3' exclusive what does that change??? nothing.. if there are discussions comparing 360 vs PS3 games libraries LBP can still be used since its not available on 360..
Also as many pointed out the PSP version will be different in many ways but since it has the same name many will say LBP is not just available on PS3 now therefore not a PS3 exclusive..

I never tried GRAW 2 on PC(heck even consoles), but the only thing the PC version of GRAW that it has over the 360 version is that it's more tactical. Without patches, there's some problems with the PC version of GRAW, like teammates for example. And only 2 multiplayer modes, seriously now. I love when people tell others what being "true" to anything is. It's really funnyI think so. I would normally have 2 general categories. "Home games" (consoles + PC), and "Portable games" (gameboy/DS/PSP). If a game is cross-platform i.e. on a console and portable, I would still call it exclusive with respect to, for example, the "Home" market.
