So it seems Gears of War 3 failed to defeat Uncharted 2 score...

I find U2 to be highly overrated, yes highly overrated. great graphics and all, but so what. I found the gameplay to be nothing too special at all. i respect other peoples opinions on the matter though.

UC2 scored today being compared to Gears 3 would likely get a 7.5 - 8.5 so UC3 has a bunch to live up to and if it fails to get the 9.5, oh my, I hope you like the taste of crow... just sayin. :twisted: :P

All of which prove nothing as they have no beraing on the actual quality of the game in any way, shape, or form. Mayne.

Scoring criteria and systems change. Plus we are deep in the consoles life cycle now. Games tend to score lower because the bar gets raised during the second life cycle of a system. Why do you think so many reviews call something "The best in the series" but scores it slightly lower because expectations change?

The way a see it people have an incredible hate for Uncharted ,just because it did allot of things right,and the game was great,you even see people who actually want the game to get a lower score,i bet that some even had gift ready if the game gets 8.5 here,sad because Forza 4 just got 8.5 and all hell broke loose on how strict gamespot was on the game,which by the way i think was review by the same person who review the others.tormentos

Uncharted 2 came out two years ago and is a great game. Forza 4 and Gears 3 both have higher Metacritic scores than any PS3 game since UC2.

For the PS3 'exclusive' fanatics...that thought might cause a brain hemorrhage.

Huh, I see it as 9.5 > 9.0 and heck, LBP2 was scored in the beginning of JAN 2011 so you may as well say it was a 2010 scoring but I guess one could say PDZ = LBP2 if that makes ya feel better. :o :PSecretPolice
