@drlostrib: With that combo you have the option of Horizon, Yakuza, Persona 5, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Forza, Cuphead, Nier and PUBG all in one year! The PS4 has had a very strong year this year already, not to mention the history the system has had.

I have a huge backlog just being a PS4 only owner. If I had the time, PC & PS4 would do it for me. Because they have more of my type of games.

All these combos sound wonderful to me regardless of the consoles or PC. People like what they like, but in my opinion the PS4 should be included in all of those.

However, I'm rolling with the MAC/X1 combo.

PC, PS4 and Switch each have their fair share of quality exclusives to offer. It's only Xbone that doesn't.

Anyways , i wont go and debate with each individual but as far as EXCLUSIVES go, Switch cant compete with PS4 as of now so for a guy to come and tell me " but but Switchs exclusives " is a nonsense when X console providing x10 more both quantity and variety.

Most great Switch games are on Wii U. Its like saying Pc+Wii U is a better combo than PC+PS4. Well its not except if youre a die hard fan otherwise Wii U wouldnt be dead as we speak for example. So thats not my opinion or your taste or his personal preference. It is general consensus thats why Wii U died.

Now add another fact that not everybody likes every single exclusive Switch is offering and voila. For example i dont care about Arms , Splatoon 2 , kart or Smash remakes and craps like 1-2 Switch. What is left ? Zelda that is not exclusive to begin with and Mario that isnt even out yet ? And with that being said a single game which will cost me more than 400$ to begin with makes Switch better option than PS4 ? A single game that isnt even out yet ? Naaaah !

Thats only if youre die hard fan and you love Splatoon 2 , you love Arms , you love rabbids , you love 1+2 switch and many we can agree. So as i said lets let aside individuals taste and preference and talk things in a generic consensus otherwise we shouldnt even debate in the first place. PS4 / Switch is the best combo. When I got serious and wanna play intense single player experience, I'll just play my favorite triple A / PS exclusive games on my Ps4. But playing Switch w/ my buddies is the most fun thing to do, especially at parties.

Prove what ? That EMUs are not illegal and that only a single file in them is ? That i cant go in jail if i own the original game myself and i have the rights to play it for myself on PC. You talking about a combo and atm the exclusives of Switch are Arms/Splatoon 2 and various indie like games. Zelda is not exclusive nor is Kart nor is Smash. With that being said PS4 has way more to choose from for all tastes aka quantity and variety and how not to since is 4 years old.

As i said before there are not a single guy on earth aside die hard fanboys that liking every single exclusive a console offers, period. So with that in mind Switch is not for everyone as you trying to say because at the moment lacks alot of exclusives to begin with since its a very new system. Now if someone love those 2-3 games that much doesnt mean thats what majority does.

With that being said what is someone tells you best combo is PC+XB1. You would say just " ok its about taste " ? No damn it , youll say wait a minute here. Same goes for your favorite system you defending with such passion because is very new system with very few great exclusives. Period.

That excludes downloading roms from the Internet which is piracy. Downloading roms isn't making a backup, it's supporting file sharing and piracy. Do you see the difference?

You owning a game doesn't give you the right to download shared copies of intellectual property. It's legal to make a copy of a game if you have the software to make a copy of a game. It is not legal to upload or download copies of software from the Internet AKA roms.

I'm not even in agreement with TC. It's taste. My only exception is PC + Xbox One since the overlap in exclusives is so large. PC + PS4 is a great option. :)

PC + PS4 currently offers way more exclusives I care about than PC + Switch. Right now, if I were to buy a switch, it would be for one game. and my rule is there needs to be at least 5 games I care about before I buy any PoS console.

The cost of Memory on the 10 line is going to go up next month. The cost of GPUs are already high thanks to mining.

Honestly, I'd still take even a Ryzen 5 with a 1060 over an X1X. Who cares about 4K if it's at 30 fps?

Regarding piracy, the difference is Az that even though something like piracy exists, I don't bring it up like it's a viable option for PC gamers, like myself. I don't mention it, despite its existence because it's illegal. I wouldn't suggest to someone who intends to buy a car that they should steal one instead just because it's an option to them. So if someone told me that they can play Super Mario Galaxy on PC; yes they technically can but it's also illegal and I wouldn't recognize it as a valid way of playing the game.

PS4, PC, and Switch. I never understood the point of being cheap in this hobby. The fact of the matter is that Switch is being chosen based off of potential rather than actual exclusives. And the PS4 has many AAA and AA exclusives; just because only a couple interests some people doesn't really change that fact.

The only truly interchangeable systems are PC and Xbox One. And PC obviously has a much larger library, so if one system has to get left out, it'd have to be Xbox One. (That said, if you're a big Halo fan, or want to play last-gen games without using a last-gen console, maybe you'd want that too).

As far as piracy goes EMUs are not illegal as programs, period. Noone can do shit about that AND owning the original game is not illegal as well. I started as a huge PC gamer in the late 90s but PC gaming these days is usually MOBAs/MMOs/Survival games.

I'd rather just stick to my living room with 3 consoles, after i get the might X1X I'll probably invest in a Switch.

I have only played 1 survival in like a year and have barely touched any MOBAs or MMOs... You do realize you control what games you play, right?

And the software library is basically 95% the same between the big consoles and PC. Shouldn't spread lies.
