I have stated this before and i will repeat it for all you fine comprehending gamers out there.

The PS4 is much like the Wii was last gen. Remember how everyone had to have a Wii and it was out of stock everywhere for a year? Why? It was a fad and after its 15 minutes of fame were up, they couldn't give the damn thing away. The bad taste left has carried over to the Wii U. That is much like the PS4 now. Sony doesn't even know why people are buying it. Right now it is popular because of all the momentum gained form Microsofts botched reveal. That and Sony is the king at making false promises.

You can't deny though they are in the lead and have a sizable one. Feather dusters are selling like hot cakes too in direct correlation.

Xbone has fewer games than the PS4. Oh well, at least you can watch some TV when you get bored right?

Funny you compare the PS4 to the Wii considering it was your XBone that came bundled with a motion control peripheral and shared in that downtrend from said previous gen as a result.

Far too early to claim one console has lost and one has one yet. The PS4 has awesome sales but has yet to pair that with awesome games and the Xbox One has good games but has yet to pair that with good sales, whichever one can get it right first will be the winner. But not even a year into an 8ish year "race" is too early to call.

Wat? PS4 has more games rated 8 and above than the XBone does. Why do we insist on giving the XBone a handicap when it comes to the games? The libraries are very similar and the Bone has even been bleeding exclusives out to PC and PS4.

I disagree. The name of the game is providing an ecosystem of installed systems that developers and publishers can't walk away from when it comes to generation-defining high budget games. Of course, that's the year 3 and beyond game. If you want a system that separates itself from the competition by subsidizing development budgets with third party then XBone will be the place for that. Just don't expect anything to stay on it for long.

Titanfall 2... Any bets on that remaining off the PS4? If it even happens, now.

I've had much more fun on my Xbox for games. Forza 5, Dead Rising, Forza Horizon 2, Titanfall, Halo: Master Chief Collection and Sunset Overdrive are all games that I have or will have played on my Xbox One. Are they exclusive? Not all, but they are a lot of fun and they are games that I can't play on my PS4. My PS4 has collected dust since I got the Platinum on inFamous. I was somewhat interested in TLOU, but passed because it's the PS3 version, which I already beat. I'm not saying the PS4 is terrible or anything, but in terms of games, for me, it's no contest that the Xbox One is better.

The PS4 and Destiny,both crap,both selling way more than they deserve...that hype.

Sony needs to hurry and release some good games.It cant last forever.

I wouldn't count out the Xbone... MS are going to throw alot at it to try to play catch up. It is very similar to last gen with the 360 & PS3. Everyone was saying the PS3 had no hope, and look what happened. PS4 will most likely win but it'll be closer than people think IMO.

The PS3 did catch up,but unlike the PS3 the xbox one has not market period,the PS3 had Japan and mainland EU on lock even when it was $600 dollars,MS could never get deep on those markets so the PS3 was able to catch up.

To make a hardware number disadvantage you need to 2 things.

1-Having a big enough market for make the gap from.

2-Ousell the competition world wide even if by a little.

Completely different scenario,if the PS3 would have come on 2005 it would lead the xbox 360 now by 8 or 10 million units,the PS3 had markets to fall back on the xbox one doesn't.

Dude the wii sold 20 million units in 13 months,it beat the xbox 360 lead like it was nothing,it took an entire gen for the PS3 to catch up,and unlike now where MS is losing in all markets,the PS3 outsold the xbox 360 since it arrived in Mainland EU and Japan even at higher price.

This isn't the case here at all,not only that the advantage the xbox 360 had was because of a year head start as soon as the PS3 came out started eating away from the xbox 360 advantage,the advantage the PS4 has is won on the spot both units release at the same time and the PS4 just walked all over the xbox one outselling it by double numbers.

Fact is the market the xbox 360 won it still hold them,US and UK the xbox 360 won there and it didn't change with the years,MS just couldn't win in Japan and EU which make dent of the 360 armor,buy a nice sofa so you can seat to wait.

Lets be real here, Playstation won this Gen. Some may say its too early but lets look at the facts. Its destroying the competition sales wise. Its the gamers choice. Its best for multiplats. It has the best first party support in the long run. It has project morpheous, playstation now, and share play. Games for gold is a joke compared to PS plus. It simply has too much going for it for it to lose

Eh? A lot of that is subjective conjecture. After all, most games being multiplat, plenty of good stuff is on the PS4 that is also not exclusive. That being said, more often than not, the PS4 plays said games better. It's disingenuous to say the PS4 hasn't mated great hardware with great games yet in the same breath mention a game that isn't even out yet.

That being the truth of the matter. The lineup is so paltry we have to simply assume that Insomniac's game will be "great" for the Xbone. That's pretty damning in itself either of the argument or the person's proclivity to just give XBox the extra credit on the handicap effect. We've come full circle. If you have to tell yourself the XBox has the better games, rattle off a couple of multiplats and a game that's not out yet to justify the statement.. Then, just say you like XBox because it's XBox. Eventually, the Lems will realize that the same reason the 360 had next to 0 exclusives the past two-three years is the same reason why the next two to three years will be rougher than wiping their bottoms with sandpaper. If games like Titanfall and Forza don't make up ground now, then heaven help them when this artificially front-loaded launch phase runs its course and they're back to having to spin the old HaloForzaGears wheel.

I agree, to put it simply the xbox one doesn't have any momentum going for it at all. You cant change people's minds when they have already picked the console they want. MS vision with the xbox one has failed them, and its a major reason why they were made to look like fools at E3 2013. They have since backpedaled on that vision, but the damage to the X1 has already been done. MS are left with a console with a bad reputation, weaker hardware, and no must have exclusive that will sell the system.

Pretty sure that was a fact since E3 2013.

Meh. I believe the pc market pulls in more then all the consoles combined so no. Also it's been out like a year your getting way to far ahead of yourself..

Theres never going to be a "Winner", this competition is for the sake of Fanboy Culture and the Goal Posts are going to be moved just as soon as one system get close to "Winning", one day its sales the next day its Games.

Honestly this just an Elaborate way of avoiding researching the console you would want to get the most.

I will say this though, if You don't live in America, don't bother with an Xbox.
