So, who's not buying Modern Warfare 2?

I found the first Modern Warfare to be one of the most over-rated games in recent memory (the other being Oblivion).. Its singleplayer was subpar by today's standards with the most linear gameplay I have ever seen where you are unable to even open a door, and picket fences create the barriers.. Add in brain dead AI by making it dificult through endless respawns and programed to target you the majority of the time in a crowd of numerous friendlies.. And you got what the singleplayer basically was, the game had some interesting theater pieces but its story was nothing special with the stereotpyical bad guys.. And its multiplayer was nothing special. This is just my opinion mind you.sSubZerOo

I just find it amusing when people argue about something that obviously isn't that big of a deal. Like... Not buying it?

COD4 was awesome, so why dont people want to play it again without actually playing it again? I'm definitely buying it.

Exact same graphics(sometimes worse), copied multiplayer perks, exp. progression, default aiming sensitivity was synced to Cod 4, grenade timer looks just like Cod 4.2-10-08

How will MW2 be any different? The only differences will be purely superficial. The game will be CoD 4 rehash: hyper-linear levels, with decent scripted events, and a pretty standard MP loaded with gimmicky perks.

O rly? Ever heard of this crazy thing called an opinion? I enjoy FPS games quite a bit, but, like others, I feel that MW2 won't be that different from the first. Why are you preaching your opinion as fact? People have different tastes than you and the millions that will buy MW2. Deal with it.

Not me, I'm going to be spending my money on some better games. Cod MW 2 is just cod 4 in the new location, I'll probably borrow it from a friend and beat the campaign. UAV/Nade fest = never buying a cod game again. Assaassin's creed, Splinter Cell, Starcraft and Dragon Age are what getting my money.

I won't buy the game if they don't give me a decent single player campaign, not just a MW1 rip-off with different locations.

And to whoever says CoD is mainly a MP game- I don't agree- is it worth to spend 60 bucks on a few new maps and weapons? I really don't think so.

COD4 for XBOX 360 94.7% with 80 reviews, that is quite a bit better especially having had more reviews on its average.

The public and media have spoken COD4 is superior in every way.

I'm done with activision so count me in, I might borrow a copy from a friend and beat the singleplayer.

That's not an opinion thats a fact. All console FPS are now into the ranking and reward system. The game has outsold HALO the previous console FPS leader. The developer stated as fact the bigger,louder part and from what was shown I believe it.

I respect your opinion but I say that making the game TOO accessible detracted from the experience- as an fps fan I want a challenge when I play a game. I am not saying that there shouldn't be downgradable difficulties but this shouldn't be pushed to the limit. Many "casuals" I know don't even want to try and play it. I guess some people should just stick with Wii Fit.
