Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will be Sonic's comeback!

Sonic was revived with Sonic unleashed (360) imo it was the first great sonic game in about 7/8 years, unfortanatly instead of the blind haters actully playing the games they listen to the reviewers who have been biased towards Sonic since '06'.

Sonic unleashed was great and i know ST know how to make a good game.

While haven't really enjoyed any of the recent Sonic games much (though Secret Rings was a little fun for awhile), I think many people have trained themselves to expect or want Sonic games to be bad. I want Sonic 4 to be good, but I'm skeptical. I'm willing to give it a change though.

Don't worry about it, sonicthemegaman. Even if Sonic's glory days are behind him, you shouldn't change your gaming interests to serve us. Rather than doing that, I believe you should continue to show us what is still good about the Sonic series. A lot of the hate on the series - especially the newer games - is largely misguided (seeing as most people haven't even played them) and you are one of the few people on this site whom I have seen presenting a well-thought out view on the Sonic franchise. Something I like about you is that regardless of how unpopular your opinion is, you always stick by it rather than be driven into this hive-minded mentality that many other people have and I give you a lot of respect for that. :)

I actually thought that Sonic 3 and KNuckles was considered the pinnacle of the series. That's at least what I think. If you really enjoy Sonic, it's just easier to ignore what everyone says, and just enjoy it.

I don't talk trash about Sonic because his latest games like Black knight, sonic 06, unleashed etc. are not as good as his 2D ones or even the Adventure games, but Sonic fans keep on overrating it to the death because ITS SONIC. They ignore the flaws of ever single game and become so generous tothem that they give 10/10 to each one. At least the Wii's version's controls and Werehog sections are less frustrating and MORE fun -_-

I am an old school Sonic fan I loved the earilier games and tried to love the later games but I can't the last good Sonic game that came out was Sonic Rush. For 3D Sonic games the last good one was Secret of the Rings the last great one was Adventure 2. I aren't gonna comment on Sonic 2006 because I haven't played it and I doubt I want to it looks horrible. Unleashed was okay but not good.

Pices, I do not know why you are being so surly. As an active poster on this site, I believe that it is my duty to foster a real sense of community on these forums. Although we may have our differences - which can lead to some very heated arguments (especially on System Wars) - I truly love the people on this forum and I want this place to become the best community it can possibly be.

I understand that these changes won't happen overnight, but it is important to me that I strive for that ideal. For now, I will be content with aiding the people I see in front of me, whether it be something minuscule such as giving a video game recommendation or a helping a friend in need of compassion and understanding. I think that it is important to see beyond the petty disagreements and perhaps find some common ground with the other people on this site, even if they are your worst enemies because at the end of the day, we are all gamers at heart.

This might have sounded lame, but these are my honest beliefs.

You do realise that the Sonic fanbase is the most divided with those Shadow fanboys loving guns and everything and some that think having other characters in is cool and that they are playable and then there's us intelligent ones who know Sonic should just be playable.
