This is very true. Titanfall had some of the biggest hype and marketing budget I've ever seen in my 15 years of gaming. If it doesnt manage to sell at least 2 million copies in its first month it should be considered a comercial flop in my point of view

GAF is saying Titanfall XB1 week 1 sold more than Infamous SS week 1. Anybody has the numbers to back that up?

It seems MS and Sony did role reversals this gen with sales, price, and performance. Last gen it was all about "cows don't buy games". This gen PS4 games sell more than Xbone games including mutliplats. Multiplats were better on XB360 last gen, this gen PS4 mutliplats are better.

The difference between the PS4 beating the Xbox one and the 360 beating the PS3 was that the xbox one is nowhere near last place unlike the PS3 last gen and it won't really need to do much to stay in second place unlike the PS3. The xbox one will sell decently at the end of this gen so I don't think anyone should worry.The xbox one will become a better console eventually.Maybe people laughed at the PS3 last gen because it was in third place when sony had a product that was in first place the gen before. The xbox one is technically in third place right now, but it will get second soon.

Percentages mean nothing without real numbers as a base.

If they sold 10,000 the week before the 76% increase the week on the 76% increase would have sold 17600

Now this week (carrying numbers forward) they sold 106% of the 17600 that means they sold 18,656

It all depends what week 1 number was on whether the percentages are significant.

@super600: you're giving too many excuses for lems. I remember before this gen started lems swore that MS would release the more powerful and cheaper console, and that Xbone was gonna win this gen. They were basing this on the fact that Sony was poorer than M$ and the fact 360 was successful last gen. None if that panned out at all, and now lems are giving excuses and damage controlling. Serves them right if you ask me, they counted their chickens before they hatched (same with EA and MS) just like cows and Sony did with the PS3 before it debuted.

The role reversal this gen is uncanny to say the least. You giving excuses for lems doesn't change that. Also the Xbone is still last place from last official numbers, it's outselling the WiiU monthly but it hasn't caught up yet according to official numbers.
