Sony dominate the UK 1 week after Titanfall Sales up 106%

That' can't be true, I have a decent mid range laptop and it doesn't "crap" all over PS4 and the one.

@tdkmillsy: that's not the only thing that this thread is about. PS4 also outsold the Xbone despite price cuts, bundling, and heavy marketing by MS. TF was supposed to be the game to save Xbone in UK and it only helped for like a week and now PS4 is back to dominating. TF is not the great system seller that lems and MS were hoping for.

The thread is about the game not the console and it was always going to top the charts in its first week. As I said PS4 owners where waiting for something to buy.

@tdkmillsy: no the thread is also about console sales hence the thread title mentioning the percentage rise the PS4 saw. Also the Titanfall drop off is pretty bad too, people being hyped for Infamous doesn't cover the fact that MGS also outsold Titanfall. TF was supposed to be MS' biggest release this year, it was bundled and had the marketing and word of mouth in its favor, you would think it wouldn't be bested by a glorified demo in its second week. I'm sure MS and EA are very disappointed by the outcome considering the millions they must have spent marketing and bundling the game, not to mention the price cut MS had there on TF's release week.

If it was you think M$ would have cut the bundle price further ( 450$ ) or promoting the bundle as 399 for a limited time thru their site ? No they wouldnt. Those extra cuts happened because sales werent extremely good as they wanted. Period

PS4 is going to sell over 15 million units by the end of the year. It will be at 10 million by the end of July.

I don't know why anyone is even remotely surprised that a MULTIPLAT didn't shift a billion units for the Xbox One.

Nope because I expected that. Both games scored about 5 points lower than I expected though. As long as PS4 is killing Xflop worldwide individual games don't matter to me. Now that Titanfail hype has died down the Xflop will crawl into the Fall while PS4 continues to sale extremely well.

With Infamous & MGS being released, I'm not surprised the PS4 outsolde the XB1 the week after Titanfall bundle had huge sales. Infamous SS was bundled as well. Systems and games selling is never a bad thing.

Ive been playing hours of multi goodness on PS4 without that gun game im looking towards others and when the second one comes to ps4 then i could at least look at it

If I had a 360, I would be pissed that M$ is forcing this delay on the 360 titanfall. It a bad move to screw their main base and i dont blame anyone who is tired of dealing with m$ bs. I dont buy the excuses for the delay, its being delayed to sell more x1 and its very obvious.

MGS4 is also on PS3,xbox 360 and xbox one,sadly is a game that sell better on PS,by the way the PS4 the week before that got a 76% bump just by having units with no new game release..so that is a 106% over a 76% increase the week before.

Sells for one week then drops below games like MGS:GZ/Infamous SS that have less than a tenth of the marketing/hype and aren't bundled for free. Xbone sales then proceed to fall off a cliff. So much for Titanfall being the Xbone's savior lol.

Yes, I believe it will stay at $500 in the US. No need for a price cut here since XB1 is already selling well here. They needed a price cut in UK because their sales fell off a cliff due to the charging 429 Pounds for it originally.

I grew up in the UK, and sh*t was expensive in general. Microsoft needed it... Sony actually nailed it this gen.

Sales are worthless BUT if your console is more powerful, cheaper and sells more, you can be your ass all multiplats will be made for it and then ported to the other systems and that's a plus/

Uh oh. Seems another price cut may be coming after March NPD if that's the case. If Xbone doesn't handily beat PS4 in march NPD or if PS4 by some twisted fate beats XBone in March M$ will be forced to do that pricecut in the US.
