Exactly. Innovative games. Not control schemes, games.

New control schemes allow for new types of gameplay and genres.
We can finally play RTS games on home consoles for example. SC2, Diablo 3 etc.
So "innovative" means playing pre-existing types of genres on tablet screens? And pray-tell, what purpose will the TV serve in such a mechanism? Because all of the action is going to need to happen on the screen you're touching. Unlike the DS, it's not essentially one extra long screen anymore. The screens are separate and the most natural way to play the Wii U will be to hold the controller in your lap, creating a gulf between you and the main screen.
"Innovative" means creating new genres on consoles, and/or expanding on pre-existing genres, adding new gameplay mechanisms. Games like Trauma Centre or Professor Layton would not have been nearly as fun with dual analog control as they were with stylus/wiimote control. Being able to use the pointer in FPS is, imo, much more fun than dual analog. Same with Skyward Sword controls. The other day, I sat in front of my TV with my tablet in my hand, grasping it in the same way I would with the wii u controller. Being so large, it's not too hard to spot a general idea of actions on the screen from the corner of your eye. To get a more detailed view, all it takes is a quick eye movement. No need to over react with this gulf talk, and I doubt anyone would want or even need to rest it on their lap. Having a second screen at the palm of your hands really does open a new level of immersion and interactivity. At E3 2011, we saw the game Ghost Recon Online control with dual screen. If you watch that video, you could easily see how the FPS genre could expand with a dual screen interface. It can be used in any genre, IGN wrote an article outlining imaginative ideas for batman on the Wii U, which is worth a read.In the three motion controlles area the Move is the least popular. Come on Sony, when are you going to learn? Miroku32They're learning that it can't be an add-on peripheral that works with 5 games. Therefore it will be released out of the box with the PS4.
Therefore I win my SWG bet
