He's right look at Death Stranding, FF7 Remake, Shenmue 3 for just 3 examples. Sony announced them a while back and they are nowhere to be seen, in 2yrs no gameplay has been shown, so we know these games are at the least another 2yrs away. Why announce something that is 3-4yrs away, it's stupid, but hey enjoy the wait lol.

That's a good thing. It means everything we saw at this E3 will be released before the next E3, so E3 2018 will be entirely new announcements. Hopefully that was Sony's approach too.

Phil is a Genius. He knows Microsoft under his leader ship of Xbox built the greatest console in history in the Xbox One X. Now he wants to show off his technology.

Sony (who I respect), announces games 3-5 years before they are ever released at E3 on an almost yearly bases. For me, the only exclusive game for Sony PlayStation I like is The Last Of Us. That is one of the greatest games ever made period. I am extremely excited for The Last Of Us Part 2.

But Phil would have made a huge mistake announcing games 4 years out. We will see them next year.

Don't you see, if MS were to announce any new AAA IP game right at E3 2017, that game will never reach it's release date closer if giving a date that is and not only that, MS will lose the hype it needs and look how that happen to Sclaebound, cancelled. It seems everyone was hyping it and when MS had to face the music, it all falls down letting fans down and imagine if they did announce AAA, there's no guarantee what will happen and it's best to wait when MS is near done with any AAA games so they can deliver you a release date.

Sony however made that mistake, showing games with no release dates, other then God of War 4, the rest are still so far away.

This is sad MS doesn't have time or the luxury to take it,they need to give a reason other than power to get Scorpio,or and xbox one they simply have no games,Forza7 meh,Sea of thieves didn't it rolled into 2018?,and crackdown was never a huge AAA game,it was amid 80's game and its sequel was bad,so is not like the have Halo 3 coming this holiday and is 2007,the xbox one offerings are slim this year,they have basically nothing even for the holidays which they always joined all its games even if they let you for the first 7 or 8 months of the year without games.

This year for MS has been Halo wars 2,which we all know how it turn out,F7 crackdown and probably stated of decay and cuphead is not really a good year for MS,so they need to really show something even if those games don't come in 2 or 3 years,the impression they give is that they have nothing,since coming 2 or 3 years latter has never been an impediment to MS,Crackdown,Scalebound,now sea of thieves,quantum break,cuphead and many others have 2 or 3 years since they were first should,so what MS is doing here is damage controlling their conference that was weak gamewise vs sony.

It's not worth buying a launch if you don't have a 4K TV. Third party will run better at 4K, but at 1080p don't see much of difference between the PRO and X. Sony has got more AAA exclusives lined up, it's a better purchase for gamers, have not bought a playstation yet.

How exactly did I dodge the question? I was merely stating that it's incredibly difficult to predict when a game will come out because of the complex nature of the software. If you really want a game industry where everyone sits on their hands and announces things at the last moment (Frankly, we know you guys get off to having any kind of hype train to ride into November), then prepare for a whole hell of a lot of leaked game announcements. Yes MS did show games that were years away like C3, SoT & Cuphead, and now they have stated they don't want to do that anymore that's what we're all talking about, Sony hasn't made such a statement. Which is why we're saying it's a good thing we NEVER said MS didn't do it also.

As for Sony not owning those properties, well Sony has it's fingers in the pot when it comes to Shenmue 3, so while they don't own it we also know there is no Xbox release, and again 2yrs and NO gameplay what so ever. Death Stranding is another one that Sony has it's fingers in, and we know it's a console exclusive to PS4 and NO gameplay shown. As for FF7 well it has only been announced as being on the one console I believe which is the PS4, so Sony does have it's fingers in it, and again NO gameplay.

Short disclaimer, now i'm not a PS4 follower, so if there is indeed gameplay footage/Xbox release confirmation please show it as I would like to see it, well mostly Shenmue 3's.

One last tid bit about how MS has no games, they said that Halo 6 is already into production, whether you believe them or not that's up to you.

Halo's not my thing so i'll wait to see what Playground games is working on next.

Exclusives mean exclusives to one particular platform, not exclusive to xbox and pc.

I wouldn't say there were AAAE's all over the place but the brand was more relevant during the Mattrick era. For instance I don't think they would have lost every marketing deal to Sony if Don was still in charge.

They have nothing going for them now under Phil. Sony's got them beat on price, first party exclusives, Japanese support and marketing deals/exclusive content for most big 3rd games coming out.

To me marketing deals are stupid, why pay to promote someone else's games that are multiplatform.

Forza 7 is 4K native,what other developers do with their games is not up to microsoft..probably MS exclusives are going to push for 4K native.
