That wasnt the question he was asking he was he asked who wouldnt not who would. I obviously meant ps3 only owners sorry if i didnt clarify.

Cows are just as harsh with there "graphics kings", saying the 360 will never catch up but many multiplats (the best looking ones) tell them wrong.

Plus the biggest difference was that this game was in development for PS3 for years & took them a crapload of money just for them to get those kind of graphics, when the 360 can easily pull off those same kind of graphics (or even better) in less development time & money. And the 360 version has only been in development for months!

Speculation, you say? Not really. Eurogamer is one of the few good sites for multiplat comparisons.

It obviously won't take as much time because they are porting the already existent content from the PS3 version, whereas the PS3 version was made from the ground-up. Also those were comparisons made using finished versions of those games. Sadly FF13 doesn't fall into that category just yet :/

Its kinda funny how people are debating the merits of disc swapping vs HDD installs when in reality, it doesn't really matter. All that matters in the end is which version of FF XIII is better and we're nowhere that point.

How do you know the game will need installs?

Every game on the PS3 has one, or else has horrible long loading times.

Ive never seen the option to not install, so how do you know it would be horribly slow? Just wondering. ;)

As much as I love to hate on 360, this isn't a big issue. Disc swapping only becomes a serious pain when you do back and forth swapping (ie at any time in the game you can potentially need any disc). FF games generally can do forward only swapping (ie when you swap you don't have to ever swap back to a previous disc unless replaying the game). Assuming FFXIII keeps to that pattern, it should be okay. I still consider it a nuisance, but a minor one. Now, back and forth disc swapping, that pretty much kills a game for me as invariably you end up in one of those stupid sequences where in just a few minutes you have to swap numerous times, which is F'ing annoying.

I've been installing games on my PC since 94. The last disc I swapped was MGS 1 on PS1. Swapping discs is an ancient practice which shouldn't be necessary in this day in age.

Is anyone even that excited for this game anymore? There used to be loads of hype, and I know a load of people are still getting it but I've been getting the feeling lately that after about 4 years in development and very little gameplay actually shown, people are starting to lose a lot of hype for the game and SE needs to do something about that, anyone else notice this?
